I just finished taking an 8 month course in aesthetics and the portion we were to practice eyelash extensions we spent in quarantine. So when we got back to school. We practiced eyelashes in a fast two day session. So now I've been practicing on a mannequin head. This eye mapping is the best.

Can you posted the video for Asian eye please . I find it quite challenging to decide the length and the shape because most of them have small slended eye shape. Thank you

When consulting with a client are you supposed to ask them what style they are wanting (doll eye, cat eye etc.) along with the classic, hybrid, volume or mega, or is it up to the artist to determine that for them?
the only thing i’m confused about it is , is there how many sections are we allowed to have ? because my mapping papers have aboht 5 sections but these videos be having 10-11 sections
Fantastic video and super helpful. MORE PLS :) but one q. How to you translate those imaginary lines onto the client's actual face? Would you draw dots on their eyelid to mark where the lines would be? Would you do this before they're laying down?

How would you map this way sitting behind them with their eyes closed.. you wont be able to tell where their irises are or any of that
Before you start lashing a client you make sure you have a lash map in mind

Maybe taking an open eye picture of your clients in the beginning to get an idea of mapping 🤷🏾♀️. I would probably try that in the beginning.

Ask for ideas what they had in mind. Then customize it to fit their eyes shape

Curl would be determined based on eye shape and clients lash requests. For a more dramatic look I would recommend D or DD curl. 🧡
Everyone's eye sockets are different according to eye shape

We would not recommend making any marks on your clients face. We recommend drawing your lash map on the gel patch under the eye. Hope this helps!
You can use the under eye pads and do your mapping.
