48v 750w motor and 36v battery does not make 800w. :D That "seat-battery" makes the center of gravity almost impossible and they didn't know how low BMX saddle usually is, not a well thought out product.... U-brake and mech-disc brake is some cheapo-beginner crap, i hope no-one hurts themself with this thing. oof
20-inch BMX or it doesn't count. 😁 Very interesting bike, but the price tags they are sticking on these E-BMX bikes is just not worth it to me personally. I'd rather just keep my BMX bikes separate from my E-Bikes at that point. Weight wise, anyone that lived through the midschool era should be fine riding this thing. lol
I'm not a fan of the 26" wheels but I do like the idea of an electric BMX bike.... I want to do one that has a battery completely hidden in the frame w/ a good 1000w hub motor. That would be so sick but I also want to do an electric BMX that's just terrifyingly fast... Like a 2 wheel drive BMX w/ a triangle battery and dual 5kw hub motors. 🔋❤😁 Edit: Now that I think about the big wheel size it seems like the perfect bike for making someone feel like a kid on a 20 inch BMX... They'd have to make the bars a little bigger to make adults feel small but it could be done w/ aftermarket parts. 😂
That is not as low as the seat will go I have mine a lot lower right down to just under 4 inch of the seat post showing because I am 5 ft 8 , it takes a bit of patience and being careful and having a little more wire out of the seat post but you can wrap that around the inside of the seat and it is hardly noticeable , will hopefully have my own review of the bike up soon when I get the time to , I have the chrome version and have already changed parts out for more gold ( tangent ) and paul love polished silver brake levers , tech gold and silver cage pedals.... loving the bike so far and handles hills like a boss , I have disc brakes on both wheels as spoked and once I tightened the cable they hit harder than yours did there and really nice with the new brake levers... I will probably change them out for hydraulic at some point
@@MikeFede I had problems with my bike when I got it so sent it back and they thought it was a pinched cable but when I got it back the motor started to fail within 5 minutes of riding it so I had a motor that had slipped through the qc net! within 2 days I had a new motor which was easy to change over ...I cannot fault their superb customer service! had no problems with the bike since
The low amp hrs will be very short range on throttle my 26 inch gt dyno w a hub from bafang will do 25 miles on throttle level 8 on fairly flat ground with 20% left over on a 14.5 amp hr battery so 5 less will go away fast and will cause voltage sag quicker so your top speed goes away fast too
I got around 15 miles with throttle only on this bike , but you don't need the throttle all the time , even going up hills it feels like I am riding on a straight road just using peddle assist ... there are sacrifices for the smaller battery but it is a nice ride , even my mates love it
@@DjWarpedcore I would only go bigger I'm not doing tricks or cruising my bikes my car so I'm going to eventually have atleast 2 14.5 amp hrs one in the triangle and above o the top tu e and a trailer with solar to charge cuz places to plug in are hard to find on the west coast
@@heathenshaunt681 the plus for this bike for me is I can get it up and down the stairs to my flat and suffer with bad back problems , if I had a ground floor flat I would have bought a big e-bike ages ago , my first was an ado air last year which was great to get me riding again and I even put bmx handlebars on it but the thing couldn't do hills at all and the peddle assist was restricted to 15.5 mph and was jarring when you hit that speed and the motor cut out
I customised my battery to fit in my EVOC backpack, i ran the cable through the water-bladder-hose-route. My 48v 40amp hr weighted the bike down like heck, even the crap crack was bent after falling on it's side when my ex bumped it with her ass.
@@DjWarpedcore my issue with most of the prebuilt bikes is bang for the buck. I have 1300 in this bike I got a bsfang kit that's a hub and a 26 inch gt dyno with rear disc brake and I can easily upgrade from a hub to a mid drive for more power and torque. My bike has more range is lighter and as fast if not faster it goes 22mph on a fresh battery for anyone who can work on a bike build don't buy cuz the prebuilt also usually end up with proprietary parts too so if it breaks you need them and can't fix it easily or in some cases at all
