I stumbled upon your channel and I love it! And your stories! I am the same age as you and was in my 20's in the '80's. You are right, it was a different time. The young people of today will never know or experience the things we did, or the fun we had. They also will not and don't know how amazing music sounds when played live through Marshall amps! lol and with musicians actually playing their instruments. Or the sound that only vinyl can produce. I actually kind of feel sorry for them. I do miss those days for sure! You're stories bring me right back there!!! I look forward to reading your book and seeing your movie/series. Good luck! And keep the stories coming!

I was born in `71-- 8,10 years too friggin` late,or I think I would`ve ended up down there with you guys....Did you ever run into the guys from Anthrax at all? Also,I`ve got this tape of a band from Jersey called American Angel--do you remember them at all? Sorry for the questions, but just had to get `em out there...............Tuned into this episode after watching Dee and the boys, playing their last U.S. show in Glen Cove in `82 before heading to Europe to record "You Can`t Stop....."Anyway,I`m glad I found the channel....Thanx from the coast of Maine

You forgot to mention that Joey left Hotshot to play with Vixen.
I think this was when Joel Frick from Vixen formed Tara. After Joey left Hotshot he was replaced by Kelly's (Blade) brother the Duke(Phil) and then by George Tebitt . Gary Bivona replaced Bobby when he got thrown in jail for selling coke. Later he played in Vixen.
It's too bad you missed the 70's music tri state area music scene. Now that was realty great.

The early 80s were basically so wild until Ronald & Nancy Reagan showed up and put the brakes on everything that’s what changed everything.
