Very thoughtful analysis ... I liked the fact you were playing with it, and sharing, rather than just showing off like several other videos I just didn't watch fully! 👏🏻☺
I got the Rise2. Basically using that and Equator2 to do most of my stuff. I can really express myself on it. More than a regular keyboard. I am less afraid to experiment.
Super tool. But I wish the keybed was coloured more like an ordinary keyboard for better visual orientation. That plain black surface is a bit unclear to me. No visual guidance of keys boundaries imo. What do you guys say?? Thnxx
yeah that was one of my first thoughts. but there's a little protruding strip on top of each key wave, so you can feel it...and that's really helpful. I'm pretty used to it now.
Is it possible to plug it in to a regular amp? I'm a noob guitarist/acoustic piano player and now I want to switch over to the Seaboard but I have never done any synths etc. and I want to use this in a live band setting; what would be the easiest way to do it?
yep you definitely can. However, the big thing to know is that you can't use the seaboard without a computer. So you'd have to have an audio interface going out of your computer, and then go out of the interface into an amp. I did it for a gig last night actually.
@@SamGutman this is exactly what I wanted to know! Now to figure out what interface to get hahaha. Thanks man, I look forward to hearing you do live gigs with the Seabord and hope your tendonitis will be better. Subbed :)
Is the ROLI Seaboard Rise 2 good for gigging? 👇

I just got one, l have no regrets, it is one of a kind, especially if you like to experiment. Creative, opens many possibilities!
yeah man! glad to hear it.
I just bought one. I cannot wait!!
Do you need the app itself to use the keyboard? For while there I was considering blending traditional and electronic music.
i just want the mini one
Once it shipped how many days did it take to get to you?
Just a few days. Impressively quickly actually.
