Yes! You made out like a bandit. Haslab galactus, and batmobile are awesome, but are easily replaceable. The fright zone and heman spaceship with the boxes in that shape!!! Who knows when you will see that again. You did good , real good, in my opinion

Ah this brings back so many memories....I was a big He-Man fan growing up in the 80s and remember jumping around in my underwear with a empty paper towel cardboard roll as a sword and saying the "by the power of Greyskull" line lol! I think I had almost all the toys but the scant few rare ones. Damn I miss the 80s, why the hell can we not go back to those simpler times when we played outside in the woods and built dirt fortifications for our Gi-Joes and action figures.....sigh at least we have the memories :).

I had the 1994 ToyBiz Blackbird jet & the Sentinel. Absolutely my favorite toys growing up. I really want to reacquire them.
I had one of those sealed He-Man Fright Zones. I'm surprised you didn't open it to check to see if the serpent glove puppet had deteriorated or not. It was made of a thin latex. I'd be amazed if it was still in one piece after 30+yrs.

Wow! Seeing the Starship Eternia in box brings back memories of my 7th birthday. That was one of my favorite toys as a kid- I still have it, but it looks more like a starship wreck at this point. 😄

Didn't know about the fright zone as a kid but I love it now. Me and my buddy were hunting last year. He got a complete one for $40 no box but still a great deal. They told him the price and I could see him start shaking couldn't say I'll take it fast enough.

Great show as always! Loved the Japanese commercial for the Turtles, and also really liked the warbled commercial for the other playset.
As a boy, I was the only one in the house who knew how to set up a VCR (could set the time on any VCR at anyone's home) and learned how to set up scheduled recordings of my cartoons.
My blank tapes got worn out over time, it was exactly like that when they were played back. Thanks, again, for the trip down memory lane!

wow a fright zone box set. it wasnt the coolest playset but still pretty rare. ive had pieces of it on my he-man tote for my entire life and never knew what it was until about last year because i was missing the hand puppet thing. had no clue i had fright zone lol. i love the old boxes

Interesting seeing the Batcave and The Fright Zone . I had them both as a child and still have them today. The Batcave was really cool seeing the pieces. Mine is still sealed and I have never seen it loose. Great Episode!

Omfg! Dude, that's such a cool trade. Starship Eternia and The Fright Zone! Definitely some great pieces to get boxed. I started collecting MOTU Origins when they came out. It resparked my love for the line and for collecting in general since I had stopped for decades. My New Year's promise was to start collecting and adding MOTU Vintage, Classics, and New Adventures this year. I did start my Classics collection. Which is just amazing. Aside from MOTU. I finally decided to add TMNT to my hunt list. TMNT became a huge part of my childhood directly after MOTU. But the catch with TMNT. I'm only collecting the ones I had. Not everything TMNT. I'm only doing that with MOTU. I get my first TMNT toy tomorrow on Monday. Leo, The Sewer Samurai. Sealed and Unpunched. It was a really great price and the seller came down a few bucks. So very excited about that. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy your videos. Now I'm noticing about the videos. When your making deals or talking to customers. I like how you stop for a moment and talk the camera and audience and then let us know what it is exactly you're doing with the deal. You kind of give a mini recap. You explain why you're offering them the buying price or trading price or explain a concern on the item. Also, I like it when you let the client know that they may be thinking something high but in reality, it may be lower than what their expecting. This is just a great channel for toy collectors and anybody who wants to get into collecting. Great stuff!!!

No one ever dreamed when they were making SW, Joe's, MOTU that people would be looking for them used paying crazy money. They weren't intended to be around 40 years. I always think if I could just go back and raid those bargain bins.
Oooh i saw that Battle Beasts bin!!! Those were prob my all time favorite childhood line. The mystery back then with no internet made them amazing. I remember kids saying there were 800. More like 80ish we learned later with internet haha. Would love those featured on the channel! And Dino riders!

I'm 54 years old and I have watched ten or so episodes of the channel and haven't seen one toy I had as I was a kid. Am I just to old for these toys to be around when I was young or just not spoiled?

It seems like a great deal, vintage stuff over modern any time.
The question is value in the long term. Will Vintage Toys keep their value when everybody who played with it in their childhood is no more? I doubt it...
I agree. As people grow up and get disposable income, they try to reclaim some of their childhood and the value increases, but then they get older and need to downsize and the value drops as newer generations have no emotional attachment to any of it.
I had that Batman and Joker that sprayed water out his flower. My brother threw him against the wall and broke him. He rebought me the batman when we got older, still have him sealed.
What is amazing is all of these toy lines that I've never heard of... Sky Commanders???

Not that I'm an expert on toys or anything, but in my limited experience if you can't find something it's because no one wants it, not because it's valuable
