I am meitei... I find peace in the kind of understanding and maturity of Sir Babloo Loitongbam.
If a man of his stature are the leader of the state, in the first place this conflict never would have taken place. I don't think there would be even a need of any separate administration even. All people will be in love, peace and harmony.

Yes, as a meitei, I also agree that all crimes of both Kuki and Meiteis both should be investigated. 5 months to violence is more than enough to suppress the violence. But, kuki should balance out what is right and what is wrong. A more neutral leader should be brought up to settle this violence.

Few years ago when meitei protested to revoke ASPA from Manipur they all kept mum, no support from them.....now when ASPA is removed from some parts of the valley ....they again say it is partial....shame..shame..
That's because AFSPA is removed from the most troubled areas. In fact whole state is burning and if imposed it should be in every part of the state.

Mr. Babloo is a very optimistic person. Both the community must learn from this interview and come together rather than blaming one another. I know it was not the intension of both the community to be in this situation. Its high time to open your eyes and see who has created this division among the community who have been living in peace for centuries and crushed those who are responsible for this hatred, killings and creating animosity among the two community.

First of all I am not a Kuki, not even from Manipur. Secondly, if a community who has a majority stake and rule the state which has all the state machinery and power and with that capacity dominate and systematically harass and persecute and kill the other community, not even sparing women and children. When the CM of the state himself claim that hundreds of rapes have happened. When minorities are targeted and killed without any remorse and speakers after speakers from that community speaks bias than the world clearly sees what kind of community they are.
No matter how hard they try to justify the act, the world has seen everything. Finally when I hear one of them speaking like a right thinking human and appreciate it, some people cannot even accept it
The state is not ruled by the majority community...it is governed under the constitution of the country ...and the violence is due to violation of the constitution both by the government and the kuki.

Use of pellet guns never heard of in Manipur. Mr Babloo live bullets used for Hill districts by Security Forces not just during this crisis but in 2015 also when tribals protested against the 3 bills.
