In an interview to discuss how Manipur’s Kuki community view recent developments in the north eastern state, one of the most highly regarded Kuki politicians, who is also a BJP MLA, has said that the Arambai Tenggol is a creation of Biren Singh and Sanajaoba, the former ruler of Manipur, and it has “been created to preserve the chief minister’s position for Biren Singh”. Paolienlal Haokip added that Biren Singh uses the Arambai Tenggol to threaten the Centre. Mr. Haokip also said that today the Arambai Tenggol is more important than the state government.

I would like to share to Sir Karanji one thing I heard from one meitei, a friend and someone I know. She said that Manipur violence is not because of the real indigenous people but it's started by the illegal immigrants meeiteis in the valley and we as a meeitei indigenous are suffering too. She added that even Mr Biren Singh, the incumbent Chief minister himself comes from Cachar Assam and he is the root cause of ethnic violence in Manipur.
So how can Mr Biren Singh really implement NRC practically?? He will also be kicked out if he does it so!!

Well, the social fabric of this nation is so spoiled by the BJP and the RSS that every marginalized group now is in need of creating their own groups on the lines of RSS for their self defence be it dalits or minorities or whatever. This also indicates the failure of the governments, police and judicial mechanisms in India to protect all groups including minorities in India.
