In one of the strongest statements demanding a separate administration for the Kuki people, the General Secretary of the Kuki People’s Alliance has said “it is impossible” for the Kukis to continue to live with the Meiteis in the same state. Mr. Wilson Lalam Hangshing, who’s Kuki People’s Alliance supports the BJP-led Biren Singh government in Manipur, repeatedly and forcefully made it clear that the Kuki people will not go back on their demand for a separate administration. He also said that by separate administration they wanted either a separate state or a union territory. The option of autonomous territorial councils within Manipur, he said, is completely ruled out.

I am a meitei Christian and I do not support violence. My church was burnt down in front of my eyes that too on my birthday. I was given the biggest gift of pain that will be remembered forever. I don't blame those who burnt down my Church but the leaders who failed to keep the public safe and who betrayed our trust. I have friends who are so dear to me from almost all the communities in Manipur and my heart breaks into pieces when I ponder upon the violence that is actively growing until today and which we are witnessing! We humans aren't behaving like humans anymore. We've gone too far. Everywhere I see hate comments towards each other which looks beyond repair. We all seemed to have faith in God irrespective of the religion once upon a time and our teachings were solely based on love. But sadly, it's gone and I dont see anyone spreading love anymore but hate comments after hate comments. Manipur was a beautiful state where we all lived together in harmony even we could sing happily the Manipuri anthem called "Hingminnasi eikhoi...", and this too has also gone so far beyond! Is it not painful to see? The fact is we all know no one will live forever and we all will be gone someday and nothing can be taken with us. In spite, we are so in a hurry to kill each other and fight for things that won't even matter when the death calls us all. The irony is we all know what pain and suffering is but still we are carried away by the emotions that have hightened. God can only intervene that's all we can continue to pray 🙏 .

Hangsing answered all questions without diverting any topics, that's why Mr. Thapar's reaction at the end shows he's got what he wants from Hangsing. Whether one likes it or not. The only solution is the Kukis be given dignified acceptable separate administration. Forcing reunion is not possible. Meiteis have shown their insanity beyond measures. Biren Singh has lost all respect. So too the government of Manipur has no authority over a people whom they have not given required protection in such a time as this.

The Biggest enemy of Kukis are the Kukis MLAs and ministers themselves. There were so many of them who only wanted to build palacial houses in Imphal and other metros.They get the maximum favours from the Meiteis and gets the chunks of benifits meant for poor tribal people in their own constitution. In return they gives false hopes which can not be acceptable in these modern society. When the Kukis will wake up.... Only the sufferors are poor,less privileged people who are surviving without proper roads, medicine and education. But there is already a deep and dangerous cocktail of Drug, money, gun and politics. Seperate administration is not only the solution, its a matter of survival for the Kuki/Zomi.
National medias are always neutral. Regional medias are biased. But neutrality don't solve the problem sometime e. g. current Manipur crisis.
