This is an incredibly cinematic map design, especially that warthog run between objectives. I probably would’ve given the enemy team a few more banshees and ghosts, but regardless it’s pretty damn cool.
this is such a genius idea, the elites numbers slowly increasing as more Spartans die due to infection mode does well to simulate getting over run, the multiple stages adding complexities to the match the set design. Bungie would be proud, and me little 10 year old heart would've exploded from awesome overload had this been in the game back then. Well done!
this is what halo is all about man. You crushed it. Nothing from infinite comes close to an experience like this im sure. Halo Reach offers that darker, grittier tone that infinite with it's cat ears could never do. And you full on capitalized on this with the map and game mode. Well done man.

And considering my video got as many if not more views in a week then they usually get per season, Im sure someone there saw this. And did nothing about it. Per usual lol

just speechless on how amazing this is. i hope one day the modders can place in Covenant Ai such as jackals grunts hunters brutes to assist the elite players and also thrown in some Marines. if AI zombies can be in the Custom Browser then i sure hope we can see some improvements in the mode community.
As it is right now, covenant AI would not be possible with the scripting tools we have available, because 1. We can’t use covenant bipeds besides elites 2. There is no built in pathfinding tools, the AI zombie gamemode you are just makes the Spartan biped move towards the closest player which can cause problems. (Note that the biped isn’t actually walking, instead the gamemode is spawning in a hill marker in front of it, attaching the zombie biped to it, then detaching the biped again. If you are host you can see how jittery the movement actually is, on the rest of the clients the animations interpolate
@@Charlie-mn5fw i'm not a moder myself but i could say i completely understand how difficult AI really is since i seen how it works. bungie would have had to ad them in forge world to begin with but bungie never took the time to ad Ai bipeds in any multiplayer maps. i seen modded Covenant AI in reach's forge world but only for PC which was very buggy. maybe one day it can be worked on from there?, but again i'm no expert so i have no idea how hard it would be working off that. also thanks for telling me that i always wondered why the Ai zombies moved so weird without any red dot on radar.

Honest to god it looks like a campaign mission. I kinda wish halo followed this in the future, where enemy side is also player controlled and depending on what battles you win and lose you get a different ending.

Youre too kind! Im glad you like it, Ive tried to tone the music down lately, in volume yes but also in which music I use and its intensity, I want the gameplay audio to have priority but also let the music convey a sense of direction reasonably well without dominating said gameplay audio

This is something I included to also make a point; We the fans copied the sounds of an OLDER halo game, and applied it to a current title, made it even better. 343 NEEDS to take some notes from their fans; they’d save themselves the hassle if they did

Man I wish there were more campaign-esque pvp encounters in Halo. Imagine if both sides had NPCs. Humans get marines and maybe ODSTs, Covenant gets all the different covenant races. That would be so awesome.

@@DredgeX97 you can also use these mods on xbox! all u gotta do is download the forge gamemode and then follow the instructions in the discord server for how to use the features! after recent update some things were busted but theyre workin on making it all functional again
This is super cool and it feels like people are designing linear infection with consideration for smooth and balanced gameplay again. Although that last holdout looks like it's either confusing or balanced against the elites/zombies since so few were attacking and it was from just one route. Or perhaps you had a good round looking at all the people still alive. Is the gameplay itself modded in any way? Like obviously there's the ships and item limit modded, but something about the automatic weapons feels different from how I remember Reach. Perhaps I've just been away too long and misremembering.

I hate the sounds of Halo 4 and 5 but I agree that the AR needs more bass and oompf to it. Else it sounds like an airsoft gun. Halo: CE had it perfect. Metal banging on metal.

I just realised that all those skyscrappers would fit perfectly into Infinite gameplay loop with unlimited grapple hook.

Combining infection with Invasion is genius! When a spartan falls the covenant onslaught becomes more unbearable!
I remember being a kid trying to remake the mission in forge, this is just a dream come true, and way more beautiful than what I’ve made.

The only thing to do from there would be to add forgeable textures, get rid of all of the flat grey.
