I just ignored mine and the bailiffs came and i told them to go away and removed implied rights of access to my property…job done, this guy is a numpty😂
I am an Asian and visited the UK. I used a hire car while I was there. Months later, I realized that the hire car company had charged my credit card an administrative fee for processing bus lane fines against me. I didn't even know the UK had laws for bus lanes. If I don't pay the fines, will I be banned from entering the UK, and will the UK authorities contact my country's authorities to arrest or put me on trial?
I got one recently, and the road it was on was dark, not clearly marked & very poorly lit and the sign too much in the dark to even be read whilst driving, trouble is when they say as soon as you dispute it the cheaper charge no longer applies and its 30 miles away from where i stay it would cost a fair bit of time effort and fuel to return to gather evidence. However that said can you appeal after paying in order to prove their fine is effectively under false/fraudulent pretences for being improperly marked ?
I just took a left turn by mistake and it was bus lane I couldn’t see any sign and it was really confusing . It was in manchester princess road . And there was traffic light on both side of the bus lane as I took wrong lane I quickly took right and it was the normal lane . I didn’t see any camera . I was driving my service users mobility car . I am stressed and not sure if I will get caught for few seconds in bus lane . I am trying to see if I can go back and see if there is any camera etc . I have never seen a bus lane with two traffic lights very confusing . Any idea or comment
Please can you help me I have received this enforcement notice on behalf of a council without receiving the initial PCN (presume because the my may have had my former address) Can I do anything ? Am I not entitled to at least see the proof that I was on a bus lane Please can you help Thanks
Hi Unshakableresilience! You can contest a PCN or enforcement notice by visiting the website of the local authority issuer or follow the instructions on the PCN or notice itself. Here's an article that might help you further: moneynerd.co.uk/avoid-paying-bus-lane-fine/
It would actually be extremely helpful if you could actually see the signs instead of small print excuses they put in or they could just stop scamming motorists!
if everyone blindly complys with fraud and extortion we end up as a nation of blind consumer zombies.

In Essex it's a £35 fine if paid within 21 days. If you appeal it will probably double, as they drag out the process.

Hi @prottoy25, did you receive a bus lane fine afterward?
Did you receive if you have done the same? @@MoneyNerd
Dont enter a bus lane to make way for an emergency vehicle. Leave the lane clear for the emergency vehicle to use.
The constitutional statute of the Bill of Rights 1688/9 states no fine or forfeiture without a conviction of one's peers

It's all illegal - we already know bailiffs act unlawfully the court warrant is never signed by a judge who incidentally is equal to you
