How to Remove Tongue and Groove Boards

How to remove tongue and groove boards without destroying them! Ok you might have to destroy the first one, but then after that if you are careful you should be able to remove the boards with wrecking them.

Hey, i have a good question for ya. My house (just purchsed 2 years ago with my wife) is 124 years old and has full celing throught out, upstairs main and basement 2" wide tounge and grove. My question is where there used to be old can lights in the basement now theres just 5" holes (8) of them... yep! You guessed it, there in the middle of the room... and the room spans 23 feet. How does one go about fixing that without ripping down that entire beautiful celing??....

Oh that's a good one! Would take some really good wood working skills to fix the wood, maybe something you can do to hide this holes?

@@radozeman thanks for the reply! Had I used a hole saw and cut them out myself, I would just fashion in the plugs... but since I don't.. im at a loss really on what to do.. but I would also really like to save that celing!

Hey! Use a magnet to find the nails.
Just skim the surface of the wood.
