For the people commenting about too many bike reviews. That's just because they aren't in the market for a new bike. There is a big potential for new viewers who ARE in the market for a new bike. And that new bike purchase is an opportunity for a new viewer/sub also. So. Do what you love but also I would do what puts food in the table ya know?
Glad your still out here making videos.

It dawned on me about halfway through this video that this shows just how good a modern, higher end sport touring bike can be when given a characterful engine. It clearly outshines the handling of 19" and 21" front wheel bikes. This is a great reminder as to why this sort of bike should not be forgotten or ignored.

Took delivery of my V100S on Wednesday. I made all of the same cackling sounds that Spite made. An absolute experience to ride. I rode it home on Cruise mode (dad mode) and I looked down on the interstate and it was effortlessly doing 90 and I felt so little wind resistance.

Congrats on the V100S! I ordered one today. Just curious, since you commented on the wind… do the wings do much?… and, does your helmet get buffeted (screen low, or at max)? Thx! I am coming from. ‘15 Norge, so, I’m also hoping for less torque steering with the V100. Looking forward to getting it! Cheers!🙌

@@barrysebastian9584 so I’m not sure how much I can contribute to the wings and how much to the windscreen but I can say that this bike absolutely cuts through air and feels VERY stable. I’m 6 feet tall and didn’t feel any buffeting.

Hi there... greetings from Israel 😊
I am soooo waiting for this bike!
My first bike was the Guzzi v35 back in '91 (actually I even got my license on one in '89). Now I ride an 2018 Vstrom 650 which I bought brand new in... Well...2018. The minute I saw the V100 I knew I must try it / get it. In the meantime however, no sign of it getting here. Additionally, prices here are double of what you pay (102% tax on vehicles) so it's going to be quite expensive I guess..

I have never ridden a Guzzi I didn't love, other than the V9, and that was only due to ergonomics (the sharp creases on the side of the V9's tank dig into my knees). I love Guzzi so much that I bought a Breva V1100 sight unseen and I love it. I can't wait until I get the chance to swing my leg over a V100 Mandello, this bike looks great and seems to perfectly carry the Guzzi soul into the future.

The 2007 Moto Guzzi Breva 1100 that I owned for a year and a half was one of my favorite bikes. In my opinion, a beautiful motorcycle. One that drew many questions and also looks from people in that tilted head way that seemed to say "what is that?" It was not terribly fast but it had a great "feel" to it with the low end torque. Ergonomically it was perfect for my tall frame and comfortable for long rides. Sadly I wrecked it. Maybe this will replace it and hopefully level-up those characteristics that made my by-gone Goose so endearing!

    Lovely looking bike.
Some other reviewers of this bike have said the active aero does make a difference, they noticed it more in this cold land of Britain.

You asked the right question at the beginning- " If they nailed the ads?" Which is equal to did they build what they intended, if not, is it better than intended(advertised) or worse than advertised.

Cool! What do you think compared to the Indian FTR 1200 carbon?

Spite yes sometimes my middle finger does a lot of work while I am riding 🤣

The S seems like a great package and from some other reviews the suspension upgrade seems to make quite a difference, would like to hear what you think Spite if you can try both. But have you seen the gold wheels on the standard version, worth getting for them alone... don’t think you can spec them on the S ??

Nice vid & a seemingly great bike, really like it. If I had the money, I'd definitely buy one. As for the reviews on the channel, fine by me, I like them. If I'm not interested in the bike, I just don't watch it so it makes no difference to me. Just do what you want.

First video I've seen riding by far the tastiest colour scheme!

Glad to see that Guzzi have finally produced a bike that will sell based on more than just nostalgia. I like Guzzi's but this one is definitely a modern machine.

Be interesting to compare it to the Griso which was a very overlooked machine.
A genuine looker and fine handling bike.

The first bike I ever fell in love with was a Guzzi and now, 40 years later, I'm still trying to buy one. But something always got in the way (no local dealers, wrong models available for my wants) so I've always missed out.
This bike seems to finally hit the spots, like the old LeMans in looks but better for touring. I'm thinking of this as a 3rd bike but I don't know if I've been so spoiled by my current main ride (2014 Goldwing Valkyrie) that I'll still find a less 'refined' bike a worthy ride. Anybody with any thoughts?

There is just one way to find out if it 'worthy' to you... do a testride and enjoy the hell out of it ;)

Spite, I couldn't agree more with the lack of advertising of this bike stateside. I've had my eye on this machine ever since it came out in Europe by watching reviews by overseas vloggers. This seems to strike a great balance between tech, performance, looks(subjective) and size for a sport tourer. Now I need to figure out what to do about my other bikes.

Spite, find out if you get her all setup the way you like it whether it then becomes a turn key ride. While your at it check for Mary Poppins. Does nanny control pop up everytime you restart?

Spike, how does this bike compare with the ~ '17 Griso for riding?

  • @moosecat

It sounds like a hell of a bike.
I may be willing to part with one--or both--of my old Kawasakis for this 'Guzzi...or just make room in the garage for one more...

Listened while driving so I either missed it or you were so excited it didn’t get mentioned. Is this an ADV platform like the Pan America or just a great touring bike? If you’re keeping track I’m in the fan-camp for bike reviews but love all of the content you make.

    • @506motoadv
      @506motoadv ปีที่แล้ว

I’d consider it a sport tourer. They teased spoked rims and the Stelvio name at EICMA this year so it appears that an ADV bike with this engine is in the works.

Loving the Suzuki cappuccino in the car park at the start. Rare to see one imported into the us.
