    Sorry to hear about the few problems with your V100, hope that oil leak didn't keep it down for too long. As for mine (purchased July 20) I have done about 2400 kms so far and have no problems to report. The engine which was noticeably tight for the first 1000 kms or so has broken in nicely and is happy to rev and seems to run cooler as well. First service was done around 1600 kms and I supplied Motul 7100 synthetic oil for the dealer to use.
    Thanks for the tip about using the mode button to quickly get to the screen adjustment; I don't believe this feature is mentioned in the owner's manual.

      @@droommotor it is very new at the moment so quality will only get better thats my assumption. I took a chance this summer with a KTM and had to get a buy back. This is how I realize that having issues on my bike was too frustrating for me to handle. I ended up buying a vstrom800de no issues so far but well off course it doesn't have the look of the mandello.bthats the thi n g with jap bikes, their looks is not that appealing and that applies for all the bike types. I still got the exteded warranty from suzuki, 5 years for $400 dollars. Good to have that piece of mind. Cab warranty be extended for the mandello?

      @@droommotor my dad had a 67. The biggest issue was probably the valve diameter size to intake port/manifold/carb ratio being incorrect. A port reducer kit w/ updated manifolds became available I think in 69. His also had tank paint damage during shipment where the dealer had to touch it up.. a lot! Apparently there were a few bikes like that. Some 67's had transmission input shaft misalignment to flywheel. Final drive had the tendency to overfill the gearbox. Later models came with an improved gearbox output seal. Some of the early bikes had a weld on the swing arm that would fail. The fork springs were a bit on the strong side. Then beginning in 69 fork springs were changed to too soft. This led to a few high-profile high-speed wobble accidents. 67 Seat was too soft. Would bottom out after an hour. Ambo seat was perfect. Eldorado seat too hard! The 67 also had a shorter frame. Later on they had extended the steering head slightly further forward.. it seemed some non-stock bars would either hit the updated Ambo tank or fender bracket would get too close to the belt cover with the new softer springs.. or both.

  • @vasileioskk
    @vasileioskk 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Apart from the oil leak, the rest of the issues are minor even thought you get sort of disappointed for a premium bike which costs a fortune.
    Personally, I have a minor issue on the left flaps. Both the green and black stickers of the flap were not cut perfectly and you can see a small white line of the unpainted part of the sticker. Luckily it is so small you need to stare at them closely to see them. The mechanic said that this will be difficult to get a replacement free of charge since it was not submitted prior delivery to the owner.
    One last minor issue is the front right brake disc which has a slight slack when you force it left and right. The mechanic told me this is normal after several KM of use, floating brake discs tend to have some slack on the outer disc after some time, but since the bike is pretty new (had 725KM in 2 weeks!!) we sent a request to have it replaced under warranty. MG accepted the request and will have it replaced on the 1.5K KM service!!
    Till now the bike is working flawlessly and without issues, except from the brake disc.
