the lost media wiki is probably the most interesting site on the web, the dedication of the users and the people who make up the site, I been around the lost media community since I was 13 and now a 19 year old in culinary college, I love people talking about lost media, great video.
I have so many things to say. First, your presentation is continually more fantastic between your enthusiasm that I just can't replicate and what I will affectionally nickname "Bo Burnham lighting" with each differing topic. Second, I am so deeply in love with old Sesame Street witch drama now that I need this to be it's own exhibit in a museum somewhere. Lastly, the censorship of Jim Henson's projects and the weird social collective idea that the Muppets were always super wholesome is fascinating to me.
just another amazing video by you omg it was SO GOOD! you just have a great enthusiasm and energy that keeps people engaged in whatever you talk about!!! also i enjoyed learning that sesame street used specialists in child development and psychology in developing their shows - it shows how much they care and makes me happy that it was a show my little sister and i enjoyed so much as kids whether we were visiting our grandparents or just sitting on the floor in our basement... also i think it's interesting to note that not only was margaret hamilton was not only an advocate for children's education but also a former kindergarten teacher (something i learned in art class (of all places) many years ago) so hearing that she was on the show and saw the value in what the creators were doing is just another thing that makes me happy to know that those who worked on the show were dedicated to creating a positive impact for children (something i feel new children's shows of today are lacking) AAHHHH THIS WAS SO AMAZING! SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!
This video is really good! Aidan, it's clear that you put a lot of time and effort into this project and it really shows. It covers a wide variety of topics and are all really well researched.
The flip side of lost media is that although most things on the internet are immortal, many things are simply forgotten. There are probably billions of videos and websites by unknown users that no one ever saw. There's a really good Solar Sands video about that called Doomed to Obscurity.
Hell Yeah! the best is when artists, content creators, Designers, PRODUCE what they want....I thoroughly enjoyed your video and hope that one day you can quit your day job to PRODUCE your content full time. much love, URIEL
This video was amazing! I’m so glad to see other people online taking the Muppets seriously and not seeing them as childish like so many others I know irl
Another amazing deepdive!! I love how much effort and time you put into everything from research to editing and setup! And the changing backround lights was realy clever!!
Your deep dives are amazing and have gotten me back into muppets and the history behind them. I’m so appreciative of the time and effort you put into these videos. I love seeing notifications that you’ve posted a new video.
aidan, i love love love your videos. i always learn soooooo much, and i can tell how passionate you are about the subject. watching your videos make me so happy
This was such a well thought out and educational video! You are so good at presenting the information in a way that's understandable, educational, and entertaining! Every time I watch one of your videos I find myself wanting to learn more! And this video was no exception! It's so easy to see how much thought, research and passion you put into each of your videos
I love hearing about lost media!!! Genuinely one of my favorite rabbits holes I have fallen down thanks to TH-cam! Some of the lost media I find most fascinating are things I legit remember watching/playing as a kid. It's so weird hearing about something you can vividly remember being completely unavailable to watch
Does anyone remember an orange puppet TH-camr with yellow hair, beady eyes, glasses, freckles & slightly buck teeth? I can't remember his name, but I think his videos were made between 2011-2013....He was a huge Muppet fan & would review Muppet content. I can't find his channel anywhere!
My favorite part of this clip is the late beautiful precious masterpiece of a gentleman who gave us David. God bless you always!!! Holly in east TN (a girl who will forever love him)
Wow I knew Sesame Street was revolutionary in terms of children's TV and education but I didn't know it was aimed specifically at black and brown kids. That's so amazing!
Yeah it’s a huge part of their history! The documentary “Street Gang: How We Got To Sesame Street” is great if you want to learn more! It’s on HBO Max (and possibly Hulu)
Ok scent your comments are turned off on Eddie Monson Chrissy and Eddie are perfect for each other i love stranger things also they said no one can die by the bats that makes no sense I love billy sorry not sorry it’s ok to be wrong

I watched this before it's interesting to see a witch on sesame street
