Idk but I think they got updated, they have compression bombs then blow you up when behind and close to them

While destroying FNIX bases,after destroying all the shield generators,shoot the command center behind the wall with the exp. magnus,you will destroy it with 3-4 shots

I’m not new here but it’s great of you to break these tips down because I remember finding Tanks especially daunting when I first picked up GZ-it seemed like I’d take on 2-5 Tanks per week. Now…with tons of experience…it feels like I can rip through multiple tanks in one session with zero stress!
It's pretty easy when you hack tanks and just melee their legs with a sledgehammer

Hard to find them alone though when threat starts to rise.
I may have stupidly leveled up a FNIX tank rival up to 4. Now I have to try and beat that lol.

I tried to do that when i was new to the game 2 years ago and the tank i tried that on just launched an areal pressure blast type thing. havent felt comfortable close to a tank ever since lol
Been grinding the Reaper and base assaults with my buddy the past few days, good to know I shouldn't try this on it. xD
Interesting... I guess we'll see a patch where they make the melee ability of the tank(shockwave/gas) deploy if the player is in the blind spot ^^"

Why are your tanks not doing the kinetic blast thing?
Whenever I get in close to thanks they do that blast thing
And from what I know you can't even destroy the component responsible for it
You can break their gas dispenser, but they can still do the blast
Yeah same whenever I get near any class of tank I get either shock-blasted or gassed without exception. Plus - maybe I’m wrong - but I thought their auto cannons were able to fire 360 degrees now. I snuck up on one the other night and as soon as I opened fire on its components it’s cannon opened fire on me without the tank even turning around.
@@parabolica127 The cannon part I don't know. I never really bother getting close enough for that to matter
I take it back - actually managed to use this tactic tonight and it worked, after I had killed off all the other robots…
Personally, I always use the pvg90 and at a bit of range I component hit them whist in marksman mode. Just be ready to run left or right a bit to dodge its weapons....... the tank will be dead cery quickly.

The first tank I took out was on Skirmish difficulty with a 2-crown AG4 and a 1-crown PVG
First tank I took out was the giant on level 3. He chased me all way to a safe house and then stayed outside for which felt like hours. I then started sniping the fuel tank and it didn’t seem to do anything. And he kept trying to blast me with rockets. It was a tough battle the first time. Second time I did better. Also creeping up on them with the bike and emp them works great too to stop them so can bring down health.

The funny thing for me with the bild spot my tanks DONT HAVE ONE like i dont knoa why but they turn around less than in your vid and do Shoot to the back on me not alwayes but it does happen, i just use terrain for cover and just play turns game with them
As far as I know the tanks still have 360 oscillating weapons. Also they still do close range shockwaves and poison gas.
pretty sure poison gas is only on the black and red ones

I just started playing this game, and I'm a bit confused. Was this made before they gave the tank its big shockwave attack that it uses if you get too close?
Oh yeah that shockwave. I get blasted with that sometimes. Don’t think they all do it. I have just started playing it so you may be able to enlighten me.
it's funny to watch how a combat vehicle weighing a couple of hundred tons can't do anything to you while you're running around it and 0:01 did you buy yourself a plane?

Except, when i got close to some tanks, they gassed me..thry did some heavy damage to me.

YOU play on easy because on hard it gives you a pulse and you're dead and that's not the tank class.
Started playing a week ago, the game used to be good until it throws me into 2 whatever-these-are tanks right next to my church safe house (land bridge so I couldn’t stealth my way past them) Then I wasted ALL my amo and I just gave up.
Getting third party by other machines makes the game unplayable
When dealing with 2 prototypes tanks and suddenly a whole pack of runners prototype and military and 5 hunters of prototype coming in as reinforcement.
It was funny since I threw a flare in the middle of the runner pack and the tanks just friendly fired them with their rockets. I didn't get much loot from the runners who died from the explosion.
This tip is irrelevant now.
The tanks just keeps spamming stomp shockwaves and gas everytime you come near from like 10 meters.
Take Exp. KVM 59, 5 crown mag, load, have fun
