NINGEN ISU is around for 30 yeras bit just now thanks to J-Rock movement, getting the recognition they deserve as Metal Japanese trailblazers in Europe and USA. They're Japan's Black Sabbath, so to speak. Guitarist Shinji "Wazzy" Wajima is dressed as a Meiji era professor.(Late 1800's into the the early 1900's). Bassist Kenichi Suzuki is a death-touched Buddhist monk. Drummer Nobu Nakajima is dressed as a Yakuza. All three can and do sing lead as well, in fact Nobu has a really impressive set of pipes, although he sings lead pretty sparingly. Most of their songs are about traditional Japanese literature/legends, Buddhist philosophy, and classic horror like HP Lovecraft.
when you literally starve because you love to play music, and after over 30 years you get finally the notoriety that you deserve :D If you check old videos from the '80 is nice to see how they play at that time and all kind of music inspiration they got, heck... this song is a mix of different kind of music styles :D
