Their costumes - Guitarist - a Meiji scholar - Bassist - a Buddhist monk - Drummer - a Yakuza gangster . Now that's out the way Ningen Isu are a band that's been around since 1987 and have released over 20 albums over the years and don't get nearly the accolades they deserve . They have been extremely innovative and consistently produce great music - which coming up for 40 years is no mean feat . I'd recommend the live version of " At the Mountains of Madness " - especially if your partial to a bit of theremin ! th-cam.com/video/DgTEKoYhAXg/w-d-xo.html
These gentlemen can rock hard as hell. The first couple of songs I saw left me completely confused. What I heard didn't match what I saw at all... They are clearly different and full of surprises, both in their music and in what they do on stage. Like many Japanese bands, they are best live.
Another rabbit hole in the GINX Warren?? Very interesting. I love the hard driving "in your face" energy! The occasional brief instrumental silences really add punch! Great reaction, as always!
The band name "ningen isu" means "human chair". It comes from a novel by Japanese mystery novelist Edogawa Ranpo. ``The Human Chair'' is a story about a twisted man who cannot control his desire to always be by the woman he loves and crawls into her chair. "Edogawa Ranpo" is a homage to the British novelist "Edgar Allan Poe." They're actually a very fun bunch. This is a collaboration between good friends. Enjoy “Aloha from Hell”! th-cam.com/video/aQVxj886mYk/w-d-xo.html
And ginx youll continue to keep on going Down more rabbit holes as time goes by you could even be known on you tube as the alice in Wonderland audio engineer of TH-cam. Wintersun Alex ❄️❤️
