Hm. I installed the aluminum Mazda dead pedal (the one with holes) because I couldn’t find a good alternative. You have to remove trim and put a plate under the carpet that you screw the top plate to. Takes time but looks good. I first tried cutting a piece of rubber floor mat and putting adhesive velcro on the back so it would stick to carpet. That worked for a couple weeks, then the summer heat melted the adhesive and the mat piece slid down. Must get super hot in there.

Same for me, but I just re-glued the pice of aluminium and the rubber piece with that glue used to bluild shoes, and works great
Do you have a video? I ordered mine for the 2021... hoping to install it soon
@@ramonvidal6825 you know I shot video but it was too long for upload. Let me try it again. The paper instructions help a lot.
So the pedals are guaranteed aluminium? Someone mentioned in the comments they are actually plastic.
I just ordered the gas and brake covers for the 2020 model. I hope they don't slip while driving. 😂
is it same for 2015 model ?

Are these official Mazda parts from Mazda ???
They are not
not my friend this is the alliexpress item, but is good
Umm there’s a peddle missing
In a SUV? I don't think so
did you switch over and eventually use velcro tape for the dead pedal??
Not yet. But it really needs it.
Industry velco would be better to use on the "dead pedal" installation for certain.
I have the manual transmission, the smaller brake and clutch pedals are super stiff rubber,. I can't get them on. How difficult was it for you?
AlvynTV you will need to sacrifice some fingers. Or dip in hot water just before applying.
Just use a hair dryer to heat up the rubber to make it more softer.
That horrible music was totally unnecessary.
Does the gas pedal extend out a bit since you didn't remove anything? If it does than by how much?
Just abput half an inch, thickness of the 3rd party pedal
@@bravoexo thank you.
