i went from 1 minute bootup hdd pc to gen4 nvme ssd that boots in 11 seconds. that was the best feeling ever.

His laptop isn't in sleep mode, but hybernate or shutdown, ( i know cuz i have Asus rog G814 2023 model). This means when its only on sleep, you get same 1 second ready pc, so yea, as expected apple offers nothing better except better watts = performance which is great for laptops, until you realize their performance is like 6-9 years old comparing to Intel / AMD, if their job wouldnt be increase performance well above 15% every year and be stucked decade ago, they could focus more on perfomance, Lucklily this is happing right know in coming 2 years, so maybe we will see apple struggle maybe just 5 year downgrade compare to Intel or Nvidia.
Please tell me again how smart is to pay same 2500 USD for 14 inch laptop vs this 18 inch,

Macbooks are for work-related usage so I understand that you don't get to appreciate it. It has a whopping 21 hours of battery life, light, and easy to fit in. I don't like the first-hand price though.

Bro, people need to experience a childhood using an HDD, they will understand the value of such speeds, 5 years ago, if my laptop booted in sub 3 mins, it was unbelievable, now my PC boots in 30 seconds, but this is because I have disabled fast startup as it does not competely shut down.

My mac actually boots pretty fast. At least for Windows, it does about 6-7 seconds despite it being 6 years old. For macOS, it’s a slow one. 30 seconds personal best.

My laptop taked 9-10 seconds . It's a cheap low end 5300u laptop but I have only few startup programs. Try disabling some programs from auto startup n start at boot.
Depends if it's my m.2 desktop where it's about 10 sec or less or my HHD laptop of 2011 (56min on that one)
