Some heiau are still cared for though. (Note I'm a random Mexican American on the internet and not at all an expert, I just wanted to give some context for the ruins in the games since they have such an important history in real life. Sonic260 Oh no! Do yourself a favor Sonic260, Get THEM NOW! Makes your life easier. Example: Go find Abra on Melemele's Route 2. Toss Quick or Repeat Balls at them. Save after each catch if you're going for every nature like I do or just the ones important to you. (I had to do this again since Pokemon Bank isn't ready until January and I needed them ASAP.) Some will have Synchronize while others won't. Reset for the ones that don't have it. Whenever a Pokemon with Sync is in the lead position of your Party (even if fainted), Pokemon you encounter will have the nature your sync Pokemon does. The rate is 50%. This dates all the way back to Pokemon Emerald. It's really handy man. You MUST do this NOW! Just so you know, it works for Solgaleo & Lunala too! Sadly it doesn't work for certain Pokemon like the ones you get from Mystery Gift. I still have to mad reset many times on those ones until I get lucky with the nature and the IVs I want for it. One more thing in case you don't know, Pokemon with Cute Charm makes encounters become opposite gender of your lead Pokemon with the ability a good amount of the time.

Oh, yeah, definitely not complaining! I think it blends tribal themes and modern themes very well, taking Alola's past and future and blending them perfectly!
I actually had very little complaints with any of the designs of the abnormal/legendary pokemon of Sun and Moon, which is much more than I can say about a bunch of the other pokemon legendaries before it (X and Y having a big three modeled after Norse mythology was a cool touch though). This is even more amazing considering just how staggeringly large a number of legendaries and abnormals there were in this generation compared to the past. Even some of the more ridiculous ultrabeast designs I liked, though mostly because they honestly made em think of Earthbound bosses.

I remember about two years ago my sister challenged me to a battle in S/M (we were both competitive players at the time). We hadn't seen each other in a long time since she had moved and I had left home and we hadn't played Pokemon together since we were very young (since R/B/Y). Because of that, neither of us knew how far the other had come in battling or anything about each other's strategies. I remember we chose VGC format and I selected this theme for the battle music and it added so much to the magnitude of this battle. It was one of the best battles I'd ever had in my life. I'll never forget this battle theme, it's hands-down my favorite.
Fr I went back to listen to and it’s still amazing probably one of if not the most epic legendary music theme in all of Pokémon imo it’s so good Pokémon sun and moon series had such a good Pokémon story with the ultra beasts and necrozma 6 years later Pokémon S/V have another good Pokémon story haven’t had one since Pokémon sun at least imo

One of the coolest concepts of this battle is that you don’t fight them in the real world but rather you physically get yeeted into the spirit world to do battle with them
This theme really drives home the almost Lovecraftian power of these deities. They fought off the UltraBeasts. They have shaped the landscape of the islands themselves. The cacophony of sound seems to represent our own inability to fully grasp the being that is before us.

Zecendia They are, however (and unfortunately) not considered as legendaries for things that ban legendary Pokemon in the game. I guess it's just that they're considered normal Pokemon, but are just normal Pokemon from an entirely different dimension where everything is OP. So, they kind of are legendaries and aren't at the same time.
Zecendia Oh, and actually it doesn't seem prevent you from using any of the Tapu Pokemon for things that ban legendaries also. It seems to mostly just ban the main legendaries, so Solgaleo, Lunala, Zygarde, etc.. Yeah, I'm not sure how much you can trust the the game's legendary categorization actually... It also bans Cosmog and Cosmoem, funilly enough, which honestly is the most pointless thing ever.
The same source was wrong on several Pokémon who returned in the Isle of Armor, most notably Azumarill _not_ getting High Horsepower after all. Do not get your hopes up, because I'm not blindly trusting the datamine anymore.
It took me like 25 minutes to catch Tapu Koko in the ending... after about 50 Pokeballs the thing stayed in a Luxury Ball. Which I'm okay with, because the Luxury Ball kinda matches Tapu Koko's color scheme.
Only took me like maybe 3-5 minutes and I caught it with a dusk ball all the rest of them I caught with ultra balls, I hated catching tapu fini stupid aqua heal thing

David Towers but the beast had to be stoped by both the tapu and kahuna when they first arrived, so you would think that the beast would be stronger then the tapus
the beasts had to be easy to catch because it was part of the post-game story to catch them all, and solgaleo/lunala were basically our friends and it would have been terrible for them NOT to be easy to catch.
I was so disappointed with Lunana, my Mimikyu fainted them way too fast. I'm slowly starting to like them again now that they're on my team and not as much of a glass cannon.

Save after each catch if you're going for every nature like I do or just the ones important to you. (I had to do this again since Pokemon Bank isn't ready until January and I needed them ASAP.)
Some will have Synchronize while others won't. Reset for the ones that don't have it.
Whenever a Pokemon with Sync is in the lead position of your Party (even if fainted), Pokemon you encounter will have the nature your sync Pokemon does. The rate is 50%.
This dates all the way back to Pokemon Emerald. It's really handy man. You MUST do this NOW! Just so you know, it works for Solgaleo & Lunala too!
Sadly it doesn't work for certain Pokemon like the ones you get from Mystery Gift. I still have to mad reset many times on those ones until I get lucky with the nature and the IVs I want for it.
One more thing in case you don't know, Pokemon with Cute Charm makes encounters become opposite gender of your lead Pokemon with the ability a good amount of the time.

I actually had very little complaints with any of the designs of the abnormal/legendary pokemon of Sun and Moon, which is much more than I can say about a bunch of the other pokemon legendaries before it (X and Y having a big three modeled after Norse mythology was a cool touch though).
This is even more amazing considering just how staggeringly large a number of legendaries and abnormals there were in this generation compared to the past. Even some of the more ridiculous ultrabeast designs I liked, though mostly because they honestly made em think of Earthbound bosses.
I used all four of them in competitive play and they are pretty useful

I remember about two years ago my sister challenged me to a battle in S/M (we were both competitive players at the time). We hadn't seen each other in a long time since she had moved and I had left home and we hadn't played Pokemon together since we were very young (since R/B/Y). Because of that, neither of us knew how far the other had come in battling or anything about each other's strategies. I remember we chose VGC format and I selected this theme for the battle music and it added so much to the magnitude of this battle. It was one of the best battles I'd ever had in my life. I'll never forget this battle theme, it's hands-down my favorite.

I particularly had trouble with Koko because it wouldn't get in the ball, Fini was a second.
@@RiddleMajor I had the same problem when I fought Tapu Koko in Moon back when it first came out. I ended up catching him in a Dive ball, funnily enough. I've kept that Tapu Koko with me ever since.

The tapu should have been more involved in the story. Tapu Koko is the only one you ever even glimpse before you face it, the other three just don't seem to care what's going on.

we had beast balls for the ubs plus they where lost and confused
the tapu had tp test us
David Towers but the beast had to be stoped by both the tapu and kahuna when they first arrived, so you would think that the beast would be stronger then the tapus
the beasts had to be easy to catch because it was part of the post-game story to catch them all, and solgaleo/lunala were basically our friends and it would have been terrible for them NOT to be easy to catch.
I was so disappointed with Lunana, my Mimikyu fainted them way too fast. I'm slowly starting to like them again now that they're on my team and not as much of a glass cannon.

Tapu Fini was disappointingly easy... As was Tapu Bulu... Tapu Koko was a pretty fair fight. NOW TAPU LELE, I could write an essay about how unfair this Pokémon is. Mind you, I catch my legendaries in Pokeballs only.
