This is a fine performance in which the drama is built through the precise entry of the organ, then the lead guitar, a whimsical, determined guitar ... and then, after coying and playing and doing everything but mooning the Hollywoodies, Jim cavorts the top off the topless bowl and brings it to the high point .. just like all great theatre. This is professional workmanship of a band who wanted to function as a force of nature .. force majeur, and did a pretty fine job of getting there.
We all know that Jim was the centerpiece of The Doors, the prophet, if you will. But if you were to take away Ray Manzarek from the equation, you no longer had The Doors. His style and playing always knew how to subconsciously tap right into my auditory senses, the subtleties of my memories; because of him, I always knew that I was listening to a Doors song within the first split second of the first sound of his keys. Nevertheless, Krieger was unique in the way that his guitar playing was so keen to the California desert landscape. The bending of his notes could make you feel as though you were in the middle of L.A., at the House of Blues, one minute, then another bend, you would swear that you were on the highway floating through the Mojave, due north. Densmore is the drummer that taught me what it meant to be a true percussionist, from a personal standpoint. His versatility is endless; from the sounds of jazz, bossa nova, to a blues like downtempo sound, his drums delicately illuminated each and every track.
I have to give credit to the drummer. I can't imagine how good of shape you have to be to hit the drums that long with no rest. The rest of the band is obviously incredible too.

Tomado desde el DVD "The Doors Live at The Bowl 68", sonido original restaurado y partes que faltaban añadidas (Hello, I Love You, Spanish Caravan completa, The WASP, audio original de Morrison en Light My Fire...)
Ray Manzarek on that keyboard is legendaryy!!
Oooó
unfassbar, einmalig! Drums wie Jack de Johnette 🙏
RIP Ray Manzarek your sound is always in my heart and cheers Jim
Oh yeah.
That raunchy organ!
if they ever invent a time machine I am going back to experience this moment. why don't they make music like this anyone, what a tune!
I know... I'm sad I wasn't alive when they were around.. but fell I love as a child...

2024 por siempre The Doors y Jim Morrison ❤️
Jim was such a poet! One of my very favorite bands of all time!

Era el mejor y seguirá siendo el mejor
I am 6, and this is my favorite motorhead song
3:35 Great to see the smiles of Ray and Jim jamming together, my favorites in the band.
The connection nearly makes me cry. They have that "we're doing it man" look on their face.
The Great band Of Music All Time The DOORS

It would not be The Doors without ANY of the band members.
it will be his polish geens?............... ali
The perfect combination with Jim of course right where he should be
Pure perfection..this band... There will NEVER be another
@@TheDoors78521 absolutely..they are all perfectly harmonious
That Jim´s belt fucking Iconic!
How can anyone be that good looking he was perfect .

The Doors - Ligth my fire
Trip music of my youth..
This is my favorite version if this song
***** nah guitar in that one is cheesy
***** I like the sort of echo on the piano, but the scream at the end wasn't to my taste, also the performance is missing the epic solos ;)
Amazing performance and quality..
I just love all of them, because they all are simply amazing :) 3
A 45 años de su muerte. Un grande Jim!

Note how the last verse varies from the "norm" (the other show that night). How Morrison uses different octaves.
