The first part of the full voting of the 1971 Eurovision Song Contest, with Austrian commentary and in this part the votes from: Austria, Malta, Monaco Switzerland, Germany, Spain
as a spaniard, I'm so ashamed of the juries....the votes for monaco were 5,5,5,5,1,1. both ones from Spain. we were obviously desperate to win, since we always get screwed over in eurovision.
@@DitzyNizzy2009 hello, yes. With the commentator talking over Bernadette it took me a while to hear her say it. But she does. She explains that they had already voted and given their votes to Mr Brown who then verified the votes given on stage were correct.
I like this voting systeem
I like the voting procedure of this year! No one can get cero points!
The judge from Spain was Noelia Afonso, the current Miss Europe 1970 (and also Miss Universe 1970´s contestant).
Imagine if this system was used nowadays, with all 41 countries giving scores like this.
And you thought the voting took forever since 2004.
this is such a unique voting system! i really enjoy it
Only 2 jurors per country, and it was possible to give consistent low marks to better your own country's chances, utterly ridiculous system
Like Spain did

I would introduce the 0 POINTS in the voting
Hmm... I'm grooving to where you're coming from. I like to think of her doing it whilst whistling along to 'Chirpy Chirpy Cheep Cheep'.
That bird couldn't look more 1971 if she tried.
OMG!!! That´s soooooooooooooooooooooooooo Old!!!
thank u for the video^^

Carlos Hevia ...this was after a double Spanish win and a 4th. Screwed over?
5:19 douze points
Did the juries submit their votes after each song had been performed, and then verify on stage or did they only vote when asked to by the presenter?
MrJdsworld - The first one.

What the hell is happening?
Wow
Spain give 2pts to Monaco, but gives 10pts to Portugal... I think this voting system is flawed.
They saw Séverine as a threat
the portuguese song was popular in Spain....
@@br3menPT There was even a version in Spanish.
@pmr1973 I assume you mean the person calling out the scores? It's Gay Byrne.
RIP
Very suspicious Spanish voting, both their judges gave 1 to Monaco + UK talk about manipulating votes! They also gave Portugal 5 *tut tut*
Spainnnnn is the winner....
Disgraceful Spanish voting.
