Usb-c is only 7.5w, so you won't be charging any laptops. It's purpuse is to charge your phone when you place it in that notch on the monitor stand. But if you don't care about charging your laptop, it's an excellent monitor.
3:32 i wouldnt call 1080p to 1440p a slight diffrence lol, its night and day for me and 1080p to 1440p definitley a bigger jump from 1440p to 4k at 24-27 inches, 32 inch becomes a diffrent story.

Ive got to pull the trigger on a monitor bc my $3K pc is in the mail!

So the USB C does work with laptops, I did try it with my MacBook as well as a standard Asus laptop (not a gaming one). I am unfortunately not a monitor channel so I can't tell you how the ghosting compares to other similar options. Sorry
Do I have to connect a speaker through its Earphone Out to hear the output sound of for example my PS5? My Asus VP249QGR can produce output sound even without a connected speaker.
I have a ROG SWIFT PG278Q which is finally starting to die in it's 10th year. Looks like I'll be replacing it with this monitor as I can't really see much point in 4K for a 27" display. That's still 108 ppi.

Does yours look to have a smudgy texture on the screen? Especially when displaying a mostly white window like a new tab on chrome or something? Just received this monitor and while everything else looks great, on white screens, it looks like it almost has a thin film of Vaseline on it, causing it to look blurry/smudged. I have the same issue, it feels like the screen has a protective film on, but there's nothing there. The smudging really stands out on white and green backgrounds. It seems to be screen coating problem though, the picture itself is great.

For me, just for pc gaming I like 2k. So I would probably go for the 2k oled in this situation, but I use my PS5 at my desk too so 4k is also important for me

I use this with a Mac mini M2. Looks fine. I don't game but I want 144Hz with decent color accuracy. I should've probably went for the designer monitors by BenQ but they only offer 60Hz.

@@Jacqie That's nice, I always believe in quality when I see the ROG Strix, It's always a bit more expensive but I think it's worth it, So was a little confused about this monitor, My XG279Q was about 750 dollars, and the XG27ACS is about 300, I'm scratching my head trying to figure out what's the catch..
@hadji9354 yeah when they reached out the ROG guy said that they are releasing a few monitors with Strix quality at their Tuff range prices, there are of course a few things missing for example you only have 1 HDMI, 1Display and USB C with limited power delivery so you don't have multiple of each etc that makes it "less premium" but how it looks and performs is definitely premium

@@kiretan8599 In the video I show results from the PS5 showing that VRR is supported for a lot of different resolutions. Have a look at the video and see the official results that my PS5 gave me using this monitor when I ran the test.

It gives me and other users eye strains, despite us optimizing the settings. Also when it shows a white backround like for web browsing it looks like there are stains in the white area. I have no clue why that is the case, but if those two problems wouldn't exist, I would have kept it, but those two issues are a no go for me.

@@Kian_Farasat Yea that's exactly what I meant with "stains in the white area". It makes sense that it's caused by the matte coating. Although my old LG has a matte coating as well and it didn't look as bad. Maybe cause it is only FHD. Anyways I'll get me a Glossy OLED next to check it out.

Are you using the correct HDMI out? You need yo use the same color out as the USB C's in color.

Just put it in SRG Cal mode. It's the most colour, gamma etc accurate you can get
