    India is safe and even though I have been there 3 times I wasn't alone I was with my husband. Would I go alone no never, I wouldn't travel anywhere alone I like to have someone with me. I have been stared at while in India and I hate It, I am a very shy person and I don't like it at all and it creeps me out and makes me feel very uncomfortable luckily my husband was with me and he put them in their place. I hope to visit India again and thank you Karl for this wonderful video.

But honestly I felt pretty safe in most of the places we went. Even without our guide. India is beautiful. Thanks for helping with my trip. I read your book and also used your guide to hindi and learned quite a lot of hindi before we went. My videos are coming soon. Lots of aloha from Maui hawaii!

      @Manish Narang I’m sorry you don’t see the beauty in India. I saw beauty in many things there. Things like faces of people, architecture, nature, clothing and more. We don’t need to argue about what we find beautiful. You are just a sad troll helping to hype the negative ideas of india. Your other comment on rape is sad. Yes bad things happen in India. Bad things happen everywhere. I am not going to justify my opinions on India any further. I hope you find your way out of India or find the beauty in it. Lots of Aloha!

    • @MaraNMinn
      @MaraNMinn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Manish Narang I understand what you are saying.... however I am only giving my opinions of what I saw and experienced. Nowhere did I say it was 100% safe, clean or anything. I said I saw beauty, I saw nice people, I saw smiling faces. I said that people who have less than us Americans were still smiling. I said I felt safe. I never said India was the best place ever. Nor did I say that there are no problems in India. Not once did I say I wanted the USA to be like India. Your “facts” can not change how I felt, how I saw India and how I respond to my trip there. I enjoyed my trip. I don’t live there and didn’t experience any of the things you discussed, so how can I form an opinion or make comments on something that didn’t happen to me. I hope that you are able to come to the USA one day. Much aloha.

    • @MaraNMinn
      @MaraNMinn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Manish Narang 98,213 raped reported in the USA in just one year in 2019. Rape is in the USA as well. Just so you are aware.

    • @MaraNMinn
      @MaraNMinn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Manish Narang Hello Manish, yes I am happy to answer questions to the best of my ability. I am a very open minded person who believes the best in most people and I am usually proven correct.
      The USA has a very negative thought on India and I experienced an amazing time. I hope that when you come to the USA you also experience an amazing time. There are good and bad people everywhere and every country has issues.
      Yes women have more “freedoms” here in the USA but there are still many rapes, crimes and murders. Some of the actual statistic per populations are astounding. But those reports don’t always show the experiences of real people living real life or visiting a country.
      Lots of Aloha (Hawaiian word much like Namaste)

There are at least 12 types of intelligence, IMHO, look it up and you will find at least 8 of them. I’m sure you have one of them. IMHO intra-personal intelligence, or self-awareness, is the most important type, yet the most under-appreciated in today’s society.

Many country even do not allow to comment on their culture and traditions or living....So my advice is there are lots of topics you can jump on..leave these negativity..and try to enjoy yoru stay...and take those observations as part of life...else...its no sense in watching all time critic blogs....

    Greetings from Boston....I have been to India few times and had a great time for the following reasons: being assertive as you correctly pointed out, staying in 5 star hotels , planning out your trip with a guided tour, drinking water from only SEALED bottle, having a mentality of "survival of the fittest" and doesn't hurt to have a "gym physique" ...usually we stay for about 2 weeks but by the end of the trip it can be very exhausting because of the experience of extreme shocking poverty, traffic chaos, noise, pollution,etc and you are glad to be out of the country..scams and attitude usually start at the customs - men in white uniforms in the airport- never friendly or polite, followed by as you are coming out of the airport the smell of leaded gas and humidity hits you hard...on the other hand, amazingly beautiful places in Kerala, Goa, the Indian cuisine, surprisingly the 5 star hotels in India are lot lot better than here in US or in Europe..breathtaking beauty of Taj Mahal will shock you..people in Bombay, Delhi are stylishly dressed ( some women truly very beautiful & look gorgeous in Saris & Indian dresses ), speak good fluent English and time to time you will see chauffeur driven Rolls Royce, Bentley and high end cars...extreme Indeed..you need at least a week to recover after the trip....after a few months, interestingly and mysteriously you will start missing India !!!. Can't explain.
