I made this tonight (March 3, 2024). I followed the video exactly……except I added one egg to help the ground beef bind together.). It was delicious! Thank you for this unique recipe!
Sour cream, Greek yogurt and buttermilk with salt, pepper, onion powder, fresh crushed garlic, dill and chive is what I use to make ranch dip/dressing. Plus I add Gorgonzola cheese (Boars head brand is raw milk). Delicious 🤤.
I live in Worcester and live about 3mins from the factory where they make Worcestershire Sauce and we pronounce it Worcester: "wus-stir" & Worcestershire: "wus-stir-shir (sir, but with a sh sound at the beginning)"
This looks good, and I’m going to give it a try when I get a chance. I’m not trying to be the keto police, but only saying this in case someone is watching carbs for diabetic reasons. Worcestershire, which I love has sugar and molasses in it, some brands may have high fructose corn syrup, but it is only 1gm carb per serving so it is up to you. I personally read all ingredients and stay away from sugar, high fructose corn syrup, or any corn syrup. Also, maltodextrin is sugar and will usually increase blood glucose. Just trying to be helpful, it’s the nurse in me that wants to teach.🤷🏻♀️
Knowledge is power and you didn't come across as the keto police at all, I also read the all labels and I think a lot of people don't know that things like fructose and maltodextrin etc., are other forms of sugar. Keep educating! ♥
3 tsp of Worcestershire sauce isn’t going to make a difference to anyone’s blood sugar, the large amount of protein will offset the little bit of sugar in the sauce along with the carbs from the mushrooms and onions.
For Type 2 Diabetics substitute Coconut Aminos for the Worcestershire sauce. and sea salt for Mrs. Dash. Make your own seasoning mixture, Lawry's has sugar in it. Top with full fat sour cream or use that to make your own ranch. Shred your own cheese to avoid the anti-clumping starch that's in pre-grated.
Green onions are actually perennials so you can put all of those green onion roots into a big pot and keep watering them and they'll keep growing back again and again just snip off the tops as you need them. I have a huge pot of them and hardly ever have to buy them during the summer time even though I use a lot of green onions. When the winter comes, I'm in the Northeast upstate New York, I just trimmed them back down near to the dirt and store the pod in my garage until the spring. Then take it back out and start watering it and everything starts growing again.
Made this tonight. I used a microwave bag of broccoli normandy (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots) and then ran them through a food processor. I placed shredded mozzarella in the bottom, then added the shredded veggies, then topped with more mozzarella. DIVINE!
I see this was posted 4 years ago. Well, I just watched it. And I can tell you that you just taught an old girl a new trick. I'm excited to try this. Great video.

@@carolcole570 Too keep it carnivore, you can fill it with bacon, cheese, eggs, pepperoni, sausage, more cheese😉... ketovores/keto can have low carb veggies. And lots of carnivores occasionally have mushrooms, onions, pickles, and berries. Strict carnivore is beef, salt, water. People do what's working/sustainable for them🤷♀️
Great idea! For future use, wet the jar after every one; just hot water to rinse off the fat that sticks to the jar. It will release much better and the little bit of water won't hurt anything. Whenever I patty up burgers, I do it on a small, smooth cutting board that I can run under the hot water after every couple. Otherwise, fat builds up and makes the board sticky; the patties rip when I try to flip 'em over to finish shaping.
We've done these before, and cook them on the grill. I think the recipe was called beer can burgers I got it from the barbecue pit boys channel. We wrap bacon around the outside of the burger and then cook extra bacon on the grill to top the burgers off with the smoky crispy bacon.

Interesting, My Mom used to make what she called Guacamole Pie, she used a pie pan and pressed the seasoned ground beef into the pie pan and baked it, then poured off the grease and she made a pot full of mashed potatoes (with cheese of course) and layered the mashed potatoes in the still hot meat pie crust and then mashed and seasoned a bunch of avocados and spread that on top of the mashed potatoes, it was AWESOME, we had 5 HUGE old avocado trees and that was an easy way to use them up when they were ripe, I only thought about her recipe because of your use of the Meat Bowls, I haven't thought about the Guacamole Pie in 45 yrs! We ate Avocados 3 meals a day, from Spring into Fall, I actually developed an allergy to them because of eating them too much. 😄

I did these on the grill last night in a cast iron skillet, indirect heat, and I just didn't expect them to be so damn good. Guess what we're having tonight (with a few tweaks). We're ketovores and we eat a lot of ground beef; this is the best way I've found yet to use it. Tks.
Easiest way to remember how to say it: worst -eh -sheer sauce. Worst-eh-sheer said altogether as one word. Took me decades to find out how to correctly pronounce it, and my family roots are from (and in) Massachusetts! New England, Baby! Raised by my grandparents, my grand da is from Exeter, New Hampshire, my Grams from Haverhill (pronounced hay-vrill), Massachusetts, and I STILL couldn't wrap my tongue around that word correctly! I finally met a person who REELY helped me. Awesome, that. Anyway, have fun practicing wrapping your tongue and mouth around that damn word!

Line the baking sheet with tin foil, then put a cookie cooling rack on top of the baking sheet, lay the bacon on the cooling rack, put it in the oven at 400 for 20 to 25 minutes and you won't have to flip the bacon - the cooling rack allows the heat of the oven to circulate around the bacon, also, the bacon is less covered in grease at the end ... also, make sure to spray oil on the rack before you lay the bacon on it.

I think I would hide a single slice of tomato in the bottom and build from there , cheese , onion , bacon and cheese. Then for a topping some diced tomato with a sprinkling of the diced green onion. Thinking of it as a holiday dish. The combinations are endless.
Would it be easier to make bowls if you would make a flat burger and sit jar I middle and the work the walls of the bowl around the jar, that way you are not smashing jar down into thick meat? 6:36

I love this idea. All the same things I would normally be eating with my burger. And it'll cook faster because the meat is thinner as you make it into a bowl.

I've got mine in the oven right now stuffed with spinach/feta...I hope it stays together!
Love the recipe! On a channel I watch, she jokingly calls it " wash your sister sauce" LOL.
They look amazing and I will definitely be making them real soon. Thanks for sharing. Just found your website.
It looks just delicious and healthy awesome food
i added coliflour inside too so it tates like mashed potatoes great quick meal
cauliflower* 😉
Would have to loved to see her cut into it so we could see the filling after it was cooked.
What a great idea, I will try it, just a couple of suggestions: I would lightly coat the bottom of the jar with keto oil. I would like to crack an eg on what you have done, or add a fried egg on top if it takes up too much room inside. The options to add are endless, thanks very much ❤
I love this idea. All the same things I would normally be eating with my burger. And it'll cook faster because the meat is thinner as you make it into a bowl.
Wus-stah-shire. Gotta drop that R in the middle. Ya know: "pahk the cah in the hahvad yahd"😂 Lifelong Woostah County resident here 🤗 Peace and Blessings ya all 🕊
I love this recipe.❤ True chefs are perfectionist.😊
My family will absolutely love these❤ 😋🪽
Omg!!! Having FUN - while making my lunches for their week. I’m a new subbie, ❤❤❤❤❤ your channel. I bake my bacon too ( whole pack at a time ), can’t wait to make for dinner.... Thanks, for making a fun informative vid.....Grama’s gotta get cookin’
A chili bowl, taco bowl, or tex mex bowl would be interesting too i think.
This looks a super idea! Will make with the bacon and cheese. Many thanks!
Looks really good, I will be making this very soon
Video wise, you could move microphone closer to pick you up louder
Cooking wise, you don't have to constantly flip bacon, thin bacon you can flip twice sometimes once, thick bacon 4-5 times but it takes longer to cook all the way thru, the less you flip it the better it lays down
*Delicious looking burger bowls. Thank you for this fantastic recipe* 😍
You are most welcome, they are delicious!
That's what I'll make for dinner today. Thsnks for sharing.
Hope you enjoy! 😀
In Britain we usually leave out the shire part so break it down and say it frenetically ... wooster sauce. easy
Another tip to easily get those jars out... wrap them in plastic wrap.. then give them a ‘twist’ before pulling them up. P.S. These look great! 😬👍
I'm sure my husband would love this. Thank you for sharing ❤
In Taiwan they have worcestershire sauce but they call it "black vinegar". Much easier to pronounce. :-)
thank you very much. this looks awesome and very simple
Mixing your cheeses would work too 😊
Colby
Swiss
Cheddar
Mozz on top
Cheeeese
My neighbour calls it "warsh your sister sauce" that made me laugh so hard thats what we call it now😂
That's what I call it too! 🤣
These were phenomenal!!
I do this using the back side of a muffin tin!
Brilliant! Thanks for sharing!! 👍🥰

A little Raos marinara sauce is great too .
Thanks for the idea , I'll be doing this for my next cheat meal , even though it's keto I like to do these kind of meals on my off days , mind over matter kind of thing .
Wonderful, I hope you love it!
