Alabama had more natural arches and bridges than we realized and this one was particularly spectacular. Did you know? Subscribe for more unique finds as we travel the country and world! th-cam.com/users/neverstopadventuring

Played here as a child. Friends of grandparents owned it.

Wow, quite the play area! Any idea if they still own it?

This is a nice trail. Didn’t expect an Arch in Alabama. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Thanks! Alabama really surprised us. There's A LOT of neat stuff to see and we really only spent time in the northern part of the state. KY and VA have some pretty arches too!

The Indian face is right above the arrows you used on the "face" of the rock 😎

This is my neck of the woods ...I grew up in Lynn, 4 miles away. This is called "the Free State Of Winston" because we seceded from the Union. It's quite a story.

Interesting, I had to look that one up! I vaguely recall seeing a sign about it when we passed through the area. We had been staying at a campground about 35 miles east of there and just came out for the Natural Bridge that day. It was a great day trip 🙂

Nice! Did you have an easier time spotting the Indian face? 😁

Between this, Kentucky and Virginia which would you say has the best Archway bridge? My husband and I are looking for somewhere to go for our 10th anniversary with amazing pictures. We live in Tennessee so if you have any recommendations for anywhere close to East Tennessee for a weekend trip?

Out of those options, we'd have to say Kentucky. There are lots of arches out there and we also did a video on Red River Gorge with several arches in it if you're interested!: th-cam.com/video/FV-r70Fni8c/w-d-xo.htmlsi=yJuc6HEd8Ulq_9q-

You looking too hard, the face is there at top, a right side view of a head

Probably trying too hard, yes 🙂
Maybe they should have a sign next to it for those of us to whom it's less than obvious.
