I actually stopped watching the video roughly 4 minutes in because he asked her “are you satisfied?” And then said “don’t answer that” and covered her mouth jokingly. If this video is about the wives enjoying sex with her husband then let your wife speak sir. It’s funny how he answered that question but didn’t want her to. Insecurity maybe? Idk. They obviously mean well but this isn’t executed well

Honestly, I am privy to what men want. I have been taught that all my life. It’s a blessing to hear from a woman who’s mastered it or has a good recipe.
Also, as one who has endured sexual assault, it also made me cringe when he offered the trauma of her past without first asking her permission. Even if she’s shared it publicly before, I felt asking her shows he considers her feelings even if he knows she wouldn’t mind. New comers to this channel are getting to know both of you. Therefore, we can only interpret what we see.
Despite those things, this was refreshing. I’ll keep the tidbits Tab said in mind. Lord, thank you for this couple. Continue to bless them and move them in the right direction. Amen

How do you clear (free) your mind and break these unholy sexual spiritual soul ties from the past. That’s the place where I’m at now. My husband and I both have a sexual past before marriage and need to redefine godly sex in a marriage.
One thing I’d say is to set times to fast together and have a time to pray together during those times. Definitely keep pushing and keep encouraged ❤ & encouraging each other.

Can i say as a woman, we (our maybe just me and my siblings) were NEVER taught how important sex is in a relationship. They teach girl how to NOT give it up, keep your sugar, the cookie, etc. Telling you that's all boys/ men want, they're a distraction, etc. Men come wired like that. Women don't do naturally if we're going by our sex drives, it's not gonna get initiated much. Or as much as he would like. You can't initiate on someone else drive? Just saying
This is very real, not one day in my household have anyone shined a light on a positive sex life or conversation . My parents have 5 girls and one boy 😅. I know they were sweating I get it but it doesn’t help much for our future. I didn’t have a bad childhood at all my parents have been married over 46 years so I saw a healthy marriage. Being married myself for 20 years I still have so much learning to do .
@@FitPasson There is a book called "Come As You Are" by Emily Nagisoki, that addresses a lot about the sexual anatomy of women, factors that can influence it, and what can help with initiation. I had to read it for a sex therapy class. I am not yet married (hopefully one day !!) but it was so helpful because I was 25 at the time and felt like I was lied to about so much my whole life!! (As in, so much I did not consider about how women can also be prioritized in sexual relationship that can IMPROVE sex drive, etc. and from what I remember it includes some research as well. I recommend you both get a copy. :)

I think using the word intimacy to mean sex is not right. It's possible to have sex with zero intimacy. It's also possible to be intimate with someone but not necessarily being sexual with them.
That's because sex is intimacy lol and you can be intimate without having sex. You cannot have sex and not be intimate unless you're talking about gRape
@@im26c4u5Actually, men remind women constantly that sex does not necessarily mean intimacy. That is the reason they give for why wives should not be so upset if their husband has sex with someone outside of the marriage.

Umm I do appreciate the video topic, it came up randomly and I did gain some insight, yet I don't feel like I heard enough from Tabitha. The scripture used to imply that a wife should not say no to sex once she is married is .... an interesting interpretation. There is some validity in "pushing through" but I do not think it's always black and white. I took a sex therapy class as part of my counseling curriculum (yes it was a Christian school!). We read a book called "Come As You Are" which discusses sexual obstacles/pleasure for women, including how couples can improve it *together*; it also addresses a woman's anatomy and what can influence a woman's sex drive emotionally, physically, etc. I am not married , but it was extremely helpful read as it challenged stereotypes I've heard in Christianity or life etc. Highly recommend anyone read it!

Option 1: Man works outside the home (pays bills) and woman works in the home (manages household), both care for their children
Option 2: Both Work outside the home, Both Pay Bills, Both Complete Housework, both care for their children

Many women in modern America and the western world do not spend 50-55hrs handling the household. We have many modern appliances and yet the work at home still doesn't get handled. Many men look overseas for a wife because they don't take the situation for granted.
