You turn it on with the lid and then take the lid off. Don't turn it on without the lid!

I absolutely love the look of this! 😃 Bircher is my favourite breakfast, couldn’t be easier for a busy day, and the longer you leave it, the better it tastes 😍
I was skeptical of leaving oats overnight but it definitely does something!
I tried this using Hazelnut Milk (Innocent brand), Clarks 50% Chocolate syrup in lieu of cocoa and banana (the sugar content is the same, people!), mixed in a few chocolate chips and it legit tastes like Nutella in a bowl. 👌

had this for breakfast this morning - it is so delish - made it with coconut milk which i had never had before and also had coconut yoghurt for the first time with it - luckily its summer for me so had chopped fresh stone fruit slivered almonds and some chia seeds - thankfully this makes heaps so am going to enjoy for quite a few more mornings to come - yummmmm Jamie and thanks so much coz breakfasts had become boring and i needed the kick up the butt to start getting adventurous with food again

Had a quick Google. From what I can tell (with no expertise what so ever) it doesn't make a difference.
BlLLY well i guess as opposed to blending or pureeing them it would. But opposed keeping them whole; it surely is the other way around.
I think what he means is that it takes longer to digest whole/diced dates as opposed to pureed dates. Might make a tiny difference but I'm not sure how big.

Micro nutrients. Nice! About time a recipe that is all about nutrition. I would sub the yogurt and cream for almond beverage. Then you have zero inflammation foods.
