I'm really glad you started making videos. A lot of creators who make splatoon video essays are usually always competitive players and pay too much attention to "its not good on this map, this mode, doesnt do enough damage," and never the fun factor.
Snipewriter actually has seen resurgence in the competitive scene because of the collection of its gradual buffs that makes it the mighty pencil it is. It's even glorious in Salmon Run as it can destroy Steelheads quickly, Drizzlers in one charge, can destor Cohocks fast, and has respectable power and range just second to E-Liter.
Many people are saying it, but I think it's deserved. After only 2 videos, this is a great video that shows your consistent growth. Can't wait to see more from you.

as a bamboozler its just a DESIRE to use (despite my terrible losing streak) but even if i lose alot with it, its so FUN to use like ERERERRE also you are very much welcome for the art it definitely was fun making the art, i really cant wait to see you grow on in the future. i definitely do enjoy your videos even if it is just two videos
Although I haven’t used Bamboozler a lot, it is still a very fun weapon to use. I remember in Splatoon 2 whenever I felt like I wanted to be a menace to society I would play MPU Bamboo and terrorize people. I’m glad MPU is no longer a thing cause it really hurt the weapon not only by it getting nerfed but it being seen as a “no skill” weapon because of it. I’m glad Splatoon 3 reverted it back to what it once was and it’s still really fun. The kit it has now is pretty good especially considering it’s the weapon that benefited the most from that questionable Killer Wail 5.1 buff that came out on the 5.1 update (ironic). I do hope we get a the Mk II along with the New Squiffer next update I really want some new, fun kits for those weapons. (Oh yeah I almost forgot to mention that the video is fantastic and I can’t wait for the next one!)
I genuinely cant believe you only have two videos out. Your videos feel like they were made by a longtime profreshanal and i genualy enjoy hereing about your opinions about one of my main weapon classes. Good Job :) 👍
Bamboozler was the first charger I started using in earnest, despite being a big fan of H3 and backlines like Jet and Hydra, I didn't click with chargers until much later. In my opinion, Bamboozler feels like a weird pseudo H3 in playstyle, and it feels more shooter-like in general with how much of an all rounder it is, despite that it definitely keeps it's charger identity. Very fun weapon all around for sure. Great video btw, excited to see your take on my personal favorite charger in splatoon 3!
Yeah, in hindsight I definitely should’ve at least mentioned it. I actually didn’t play Splat 1 in its prime, and since these videos usually touch more on my personal experiences with weapons, I wasn’t sure if I should include S1 damage up bamboo since I didn’t experience it firsthand. From what I hear, it was a little less oppressive since defense up was also a thing. Next time I need to talk about S1, I’ll probably ask one of my friends for their experiences with it so I can actually include it :) Thank for for stopping by and watching!! :D
it’s a shame that you don’t see that much charger diversity in 3 compared to 2, i remember i used to see so many different types in the second game (boozlers included), now its just e-liters everywhere alongside the occasional z+f. great vid btw, excited to see what’s in store for the future!!
Yeah, it’s definitely less varied than 2… but there is sort of a glimmer of hope! Snipewriter is starting to see lots of use at top level, killer wail just got a buff so bamboo is will(hopefully) see more use, and squiffer is regarded by a lot of top players as a fantastic main weapon that’s held back by its kit, so all we really need is new squiffer xD I think the future of chargers looks bright!!
I remember finding you in anarchy or X battles a little while back wondering hey isn’t that the guy who made the charger video and I saw bamboo stick and thought ah video soon. And the video delivers! I've never really tried the bamboo that much aside from randomized (like the 2 challenges) but when I did play it it was surprisingly fun!

I remember right before Splatty 3 came out I played bamboozler and it was a blast, the quicker charge was really nice and it definitely felt like a more aggressive charger

If you like Bamboo, you'll like Slosher Deco. Ridiculous learning curve, but so fun. Walls and range stop mattering. You now have infinite range on chip damage and location with Angle shooter (also combos with main weapon) And Zipcaster. Congratulations, you now own the entire battlefield.
Slosher deco is CRAAAZY. I initially recoiled when the kit was first announced, but once I actually got to playing it? It’s seriously like a dream. Zipcaster especially as it allows for you to take some weird angles behind walls. It sounded terrible in concept, but was great to experience. Truly the Hawaiian pizza of sloshers xD
I hated bamboo mpu as an s2 dualie main but your video kinda made me enjoy them more! Cute weapon and the "Therapy killer wail" had me laughing out loud. Keep on making these awesome videos!!
Great video and editing! quick note about wail, it just repeats the movements of players, so you could move very slightly in one direction it wont touch you. So against players who know what they are doing, its unlikely to help unless you somehow add additional threats. so this means dont use it against backlines who wont have to be directly engaged with another player, use it against enemies you or your teammates are fighting
Very true! I probably should’ve touched on that and mentioned that it’s really only effective if you use it at a time when it’s most inconvenient for the enemy team to react to, sorta like tenta missiles. Both specials can be super oppressive if used well, but not so much if everyone is spread out and able to just dodge them. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :D

Also I have a funny story related to hating gootuber. When the custom gootuber came out and I was talking about how annoyed I was that we didn't get any other charger kit with my friends, they were saying as a joke "no you have to use it, it's so good". So while we were doing drop-ins with a big group I did that, and I went "okay, the moment I lose, I'm switching". But then I just... didn't lose. Over and over again no matter which team I was on, I won with the gootuber, even in matches where we were losing the entire time my team would always make a comeback somehow, and eventually I'm basically accusing my friends of letting me win so I have to keep playing the gootuber. This goes on for like ten games, like it was actually so absurd. And when at last I finally lose a game and am free from my torment, _my team lost that game by exactly 0.1p_ And now whenever we're on a losing streak, my friends suggest that I play gootuber because it's "the best weapon"
YES!! You finally see the true power of custom goo tuber!! It doesn’t matter if the main weapon is regarded as completely unusable by some people, it is genuinely one of the most fun weapons in the game and can be DEVASTATINGLY powerful in the hands of someone who know how to make use of the gimmicks of the weapon well. @@SplashPanda it's so dumb how good it's kit is (which makes sense cause fizzy bomb was amazing on bamboo back in 2). Like I just have all the tools I could ever want, a fizzy for long distance pressure, a special to force my way in and also a gootuber. I'd like it so much more if it didn't mean that gootuber got two of the best combo subs in the game instead of bamboozler, lol
That’s exactly it!! Not to sound like a hipster or anything, but custom goo is wayyy more fun to me than the regular one xD I know the vanilla goo has missiles(which is widely regarded as one of the best specials), but fizzy/stamp just really seals the fun factor for me. It is kinda sad that bamboo didn’t get either of those, but here’s to hoping it can maybe get burst bomb(and if not that, then I guess I’ll accept angle shooter xD)

The scariest thing about Bamboozler is the very real possibility that the MK II will have Toxic Mist, it had Disruptor in Splatoon 1 then Disruptor was changed into Toxic Mist and Bamboozler 14 MK II in Splatoon 2 had Toxic Mist and seeing as how Splatoon 3 likes referencing old kits the possibility of Toxic mist is alarmingly high or even worse they could reference Splatoon 1's MK I kit by giving it Splash Wall (though I kinda doubt that as Z+F and Snipewriter 5B both have Splash Wall)
That is a very real possibility… but for some reason, nintendo REALLY loves putting a ton of different subs on bamboozler specifically(I think it’s had like 7 or 8 unique subs over the years??) so it’s possible they’ll try something new with it instead of falling back on mist. Even if it does, we’re still likely to get an Mk III variant so the boozler nation should be chillin ;D
@@SplashPanda Bamboozler has had Splashwall, Curling Bomb, Auto Bomb, Disruptor, Toxic Mist, Burst Bomb and Fizzy Bomb, also upon further reflection Toxic Mist really isn't that bad for Bamboozler thanks to it's fast charge time and constant range the only issue is that Toxic Mist is still kinda expensive for how meh the effect is with it using 60% of your ink tank
I just always assumed that everybody at 4:35 used bamboozler because it was the only weapon inklings had invented at the time. I’m pretty sure bamboozlers are like the musket or maybe dart gun equivalent of the splatoon world.I’m not sure if that was my own head cannon I believed so hard i thought it was real or if Sheldon said something about the origin of the bamboozler in splatoon 2 in his weapon explanations.

I think I may try to use the Bamboozler once in awhile now! Who would've known I'd become a half charger half splatting main, I mean you were gushing so much about it. It made me really happy hearing someone talk about a weapon they love a lot! I really like the Goober Tuber! With the sub and special, it's really fun to use. I normally use the sub to help my teammate or to distract other chargers to let my teammates take them out. Maybe you could try it! For me, it works best on Mahi Mahi, Museum d'Alfonsino, and Hammerhead Bridge. I haven't had much luck on other maps, maybe it's just me.😂 (I know that's not what it's called, but it's what I call it. The Goober Tuber. I'm a goober, what can I say?) Also I can't imagine how horrific it must've been to face up against a bamboozler in Splatoon 2. I'm sure it was scarier than any horror game Cant wait for the next video! Keep up the great work Panda, just don't over work yourself B)

Thank you!! I believe that most of, if not all the weapons can be used well in casual play, so I try to give some praise to even the least looked upon weapons ;) After Chargers, I’m currently thinking Splatlings, but that all depends on if I don’t have other ideas in the meantime. Stay tuned! XD

Great video and editing! quick note about wail, it just repeats the movements of players, so you could move very slightly in one direction it wont touch you. So against players who know what they are doing, its unlikely to help unless you somehow add additional threats. so this means dont use it against backlines who wont have to be directly engaged with another player, use it against enemies you or your teammates are fighting
Very true! I probably should’ve touched on that and mentioned that it’s really only effective if you use it at a time when it’s most inconvenient for the enemy team to react to, sorta like tenta missiles. Both specials can be super oppressive if used well, but not so much if everyone is spread out and able to just dodge them. Thanks for stopping by and commenting! :D
_Oh an entire video dedicated to bamboozler, you spoil us._ Agree with pretty much all of this, especially the part about how respawn punisher users probably enjoy microwaving babies, lol.
Also I have a funny story related to hating gootuber. When the custom gootuber came out and I was talking about how annoyed I was that we didn't get any other charger kit with my friends, they were saying as a joke "no you have to use it, it's so good".
So while we were doing drop-ins with a big group I did that, and I went "okay, the moment I lose, I'm switching". But then I just... didn't lose. Over and over again no matter which team I was on, I won with the gootuber, even in matches where we were losing the entire time my team would always make a comeback somehow, and eventually I'm basically accusing my friends of letting me win so I have to keep playing the gootuber. This goes on for like ten games, like it was actually so absurd.
And when at last I finally lose a game and am free from my torment, _my team lost that game by exactly 0.1p_
And now whenever we're on a losing streak, my friends suggest that I play gootuber because it's "the best weapon"
YES!! You finally see the true power of custom goo tuber!! It doesn’t matter if the main weapon is regarded as completely unusable by some people, it is genuinely one of the most fun weapons in the game and can be DEVASTATINGLY powerful in the hands of someone who know how to make use of the gimmicks of the weapon well. Props to your friends for getting you on the goober train! XD
@@SplashPanda it's so dumb how good it's kit is (which makes sense cause fizzy bomb was amazing on bamboo back in 2). Like I just have all the tools I could ever want, a fizzy for long distance pressure, a special to force my way in and also a gootuber.
I'd like it so much more if it didn't mean that gootuber got two of the best combo subs in the game instead of bamboozler, lol
That’s exactly it!! Not to sound like a hipster or anything, but custom goo is wayyy more fun to me than the regular one xD I know the vanilla goo has missiles(which is widely regarded as one of the best specials), but fizzy/stamp just really seals the fun factor for me.
It is kinda sad that bamboo didn’t get either of those, but here’s to hoping it can maybe get burst bomb(and if not that, then I guess I’ll accept angle shooter xD)

The scariest thing about Bamboozler is the very real possibility that the MK II will have Toxic Mist, it had Disruptor in Splatoon 1 then Disruptor was changed into Toxic Mist and Bamboozler 14 MK II in Splatoon 2 had Toxic Mist and seeing as how Splatoon 3 likes referencing old kits the possibility of Toxic mist is alarmingly high or even worse they could reference Splatoon 1's MK I kit by giving it Splash Wall (though I kinda doubt that as Z+F and Snipewriter 5B both have Splash Wall)
That is a very real possibility… but for some reason, nintendo REALLY loves putting a ton of different subs on bamboozler specifically(I think it’s had like 7 or 8 unique subs over the years??) so it’s possible they’ll try something new with it instead of falling back on mist. Even if it does, we’re still likely to get an Mk III variant so the boozler nation should be chillin ;D
@@SplashPanda Bamboozler has had Splashwall, Curling Bomb, Auto Bomb, Disruptor, Toxic Mist, Burst Bomb and Fizzy Bomb, also upon further reflection Toxic Mist really isn't that bad for Bamboozler thanks to it's fast charge time and constant range the only issue is that Toxic Mist is still kinda expensive for how meh the effect is with it using 60% of your ink tank

I just always assumed that everybody at 4:35 used bamboozler because it was the only weapon inklings had invented at the time. I’m pretty sure bamboozlers are like the musket or maybe dart gun equivalent of the splatoon world.I’m not sure if that was my own head cannon I believed so hard i thought it was real or if Sheldon said something about the origin of the bamboozler in splatoon 2 in his weapon explanations.
Bamboo is my favorite charger *because* of its speed. Plus if you miss you can easily try again and again!

I think I may try to use the Bamboozler once in awhile now! Who would've known I'd become a half charger half splatting main, I mean you were gushing so much about it. It made me really happy hearing someone talk about a weapon they love a lot!
I really like the Goober Tuber! With the sub and special, it's really fun to use. I normally use the sub to help my teammate or to distract other chargers to let my teammates take them out. Maybe you could try it! For me, it works best on Mahi Mahi, Museum d'Alfonsino, and Hammerhead Bridge. I haven't had much luck on other maps, maybe it's just me.😂
(I know that's not what it's called, but it's what I call it. The Goober Tuber. I'm a goober, what can I say?)
Also I can't imagine how horrific it must've been to face up against a bamboozler in Splatoon 2. I'm sure it was scarier than any horror game

As someone who also is “by no means a competitive player”, I appreciate you showing love towards all these weapons that looked down on by the competitive community. Also, what’s the plan after covering all of the chargers? Splatlings maybe?
Thank you!! I believe that most of, if not all the weapons can be used well in casual play, so I try to give some praise to even the least looked upon weapons ;) After Chargers, I’m currently thinking Splatlings, but that all depends on if I don’t have other ideas in the meantime. Stay tuned! XD
