What inspired me to enter competitive Splatoon was watching Latias’ charger games on youtube. She will always be my inspiration! 💛 I am not and have never been a charger main, but it is still one of the most satisfying weapons to watch videos of.
Latias was actually who inspired me to start maining E-liter back in Splatoon 2!! And to this day, she continues to blow me away with how consistently she can hit such insane shots. She makes it look so easy XD

I was always into video games, but never thought that anything competitive would be for me, because its all just so male dominated. I never really stepped into those spaces because there wasn’t any person who looked liked me that I saw, and I didn’t think I could succeed. But Latias was there, and she was at the top. Not only that, but she shined so brightly even among her peers. How sweet is that? And then I learned that the splatoon comp scene is very queer and has a lot of women playing. I fit right in lmao
I am a Frontliner and my main are both of the tetra duelies. I have a burning hatred for chargers, but I love this series you're doing. It's so cute, silly and fun! While also being well informed! 💙
As a Charger main myself I absolutely love this video. Chargers are my favorite weapon class in the game and I’ve mained them ever since late Splatoon 2. I remembered learning them for the first time and struggling but slowly improving over time and always clipping times I would get like 2 or 3 kills. They’re just a super satisfying weapon class to play and as of right now in Splatoon 3 I have 4 starred both E-Liters and 5 starred both Splatterscopes (also don’t slander my precious Splatterscopes the extra 5% range helps a lot and getting snipes up close to someone feels amazing with it especially if they underestimate my aiming capabilities). But in all seriousness this is an amazing video and I can’t wait for part two!

Nice job on all the 4 and 5 stars, especially on the scopes, although I can only hope that your sanity remains intact after playing so much scope(kidding, of course XD I actually play a lot of ZF scope myself, that extra 5% seems barely noticeable in the training room but MAN is it practical in-game! People tend to underestimate the distance :0)
One thing that's important for chargers, LEARN TO TAPSHOT. it will save your life more times than you think. The range in all chargers isn't even bad and that plus strafing plus jumping you'd be surprised
As a Charger player since Splatoon 1, I will say, I agree with most of the stuff said here. I love how rewarding it feels to be good at a charger. I've mained every charger up to this point besides pencil, and I will say, E-liter is my favorite. They are all really fun to play but E-liter has that satisfaction factor to it. One thing I do want to mention is that ink vac is very good on charger in a competitive setting. I will agree that it isnt great when playing with randoms in X rank or series, but in the competitive scene, Ink vac allows you to clear rainmaker checkpoints, score power clams, and even prevent the enemy team from painting the zone just with the suction part. On a full charge vac shot, its like a nuke being launched across the map. It has the same hitbox size as a rainmaker pop and can instantly paint some splat zones. Both splat charger kits are great right now, it just depends on what you are playing in. The video was great btw :)

I mostly play anarchy, where true coordination is very rare, but when the team does manage to coordinate, ink vac feels unstoppable!! I’d even say it’s one of the more fun and unique specials to use. Although, from my experiences as a non-comp player, ink vac isn’t as reliable in solo(as support specials are sometimes not capitalized on due to lack of communication), and I was afraid to say anything about the comp scene given my inexperience with it XD Thank you very much for your input and I’m very happy to hear that you liked the video!! :)

I have been a charger main since S1. In fact, in S1, right when the game was new, I was a bit concerned as to why I wasnt good with weapons as I hoped. That all changed when i decided to pick up charger. And i never put it down after that lol Just remember that as a charger you are on everyone's number 1 slot in their hitlist the second you breathe-

I actually just use Procreate for iPad to make my short little animations! :) It’s fairly simple and intuitive, great for making smaller projects for newer animators :D
As somebody who has been a charger main for years, props to you for having this much insight on the chargers! I may no longer be too much of a charger main, but my e-liter will ALWAYS remain my baby, even if the semi-recent tri-stringer buffs made me pick it back up again
you have NO IDEA how much dopamine is released when we charge a slash and jump down from a cliff onto our unsuspecting prey and hear that AMAZING one-shot sound as they cry in pain while they explode and their spirit floats off to the spawn point. Just part of the joy of playing splatana, y'know?

This is an incredibly well made video, you will keep growing regardless of any walls you hit while growing. I picked up z+f splat charger only recently and i have used it more, according to splatnet, than my actual main, the nautilus 47. I love using it and im glad i came back to the class after getting demolished while trying to use the v-splat charger when i first got the game.
I always wanted to be a charger user however I was never able to be consistent with them. Only really do well 30-40% of the time at best. The time I did spend with them did give me some serious respect for the charger mains out there, you are all awesome.
I just found your channel today from the Goo Tuber video and MAN I've wanted to find Splatoon videos like this for ever. The fun, casual, and sometimes nostalgic approach to the games weapon and meta-history is so inviting, AND I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE A FELLOW CHARGER MAIN! I've been since day 1 in Splatoon 1, and I just wanted to add my obligatory "Man I miss Burst Bombs on E-liter!" I haven't really been able to get into them since, I just feel having that insanely quick offensive option was the ultimate life-saver, and the Echo-locator maybe wasn't super amazing but it did compliment the weapon a lot. I'm excited to see more of your videos in the future!

My only confusion is, if you're a Splash Panda and you're in a dumpster, I guess you're a raccoon. But raccoons aren't rodents. It doesn't matter for video quality, its just a weird way to describe yourself is all.
If this really is the first video you made on yt, great job. You actually look like you have a good amount of experience. The thumbnail was perfect because I came in like "damn right chargers are the best", but also, your style is unique and entertaining. Keep up the good work, and I have faith you can become a very good splatoon content creator!
I main splatcharger and it’s a criminally underrated option for higher level anarchy play. Both kits have their own respective niches and as a certified ink vac lover, its vanilla kit is fantastic in rainmaker especially. People tend to crowd in rain and one shot can take out almost the entire team. Plus in tower you can almost instantly get people off the tower with a shot that wasnt even charged with any ink. Such a cool weapon

Chargers (and backlines in general) were by far my least played weapons for all of 1 and 2, but in 3 I got interested in tri stringer and decided to give explo a second chance after sucking with it in 2. Both are some of my most played weapons now! Eventually this led to me trying out splat charger and having more fun than expected, realizing goo tuber can kill with a partial, grinding bamboo for whatever reason during the zelda fest (good kit for gettting people off/away from the signal), and now finally coming back around on my opinion of pencil and it becoming my favorite charger as of a couple days ago. As a bit of an "everything main" I still rarely play chargers but this is my first time actually giving them an honest shot after 8 years of playing the series and they feel really good when you do well with them. Since Splatoon is the only shooter game I've ever played it's also nice to play something that helps me practice my aim once in a while

@@SplashPanda heh, yeah... I was so looking forward to a squiffer with zipcaster, or E-liter with beacons (or if we could be so blessed, bamboozler with a combo sub). I swear the developers have a vendetta against chargers, it's the only weapon class still missing 4 alt kits at this point. I'll still play the new gootuber for sure (especially since I loathe using missiles), but it's explicitly a weapon I only pick when I don't care that much about winning, after so long trying to make it work in 2 I've more or less accepted that it'll never be good.
@@squiddler7731 I’m the same way! I tried so hard to play it in 2, but it just felt like I wasn’t able to get the consistency that I had with squiffer. Goo sometimes really is just a “kick back and stop caring” weapon. Oh well, fingers crossed we get the coveted burst bomb bamboozler(which I don’t think would be THAT broken given the lack of damage up/mpu) or something equally as cool!!
Great video! I personally quite enjoy gootuber myself for fun, it's not the best, but it's kit is so fun, and I enjoy being able to paint as a charger. Personally though my anchor wheelhouse will always be hydra and explo.
As a fellow raccoon who mains chargers in a decent amount of gamemodes I agree with you alot here, I had NEVER touched chargers until splatoon 3 but as soon as i committed to learning them, I've been a firm e-liter 4k scope user since my first match with it

Love this video!! I can tell your love for chargers with the amount of details that goes in. From the history, explanation of main and sub weapons and even comparison from the previous games. As a charger enthusiast, im really glad to have found this to know there are players out there who love this weapon class. I picked up chargers solely based off the splat sound, it is sooo satisfying. Remembered getting no kills every match and jumped on constantly. It was a steep curve to climb. Glad i persisted and can now do snap shots with decent splat counts. Amazing video pacing and editing, love the little animations you did too! Will be sharing this videos to players who are interested in picking the weapon up. I also love e-liter

Love the fact Panda was giving Point Sensor some credit, I use Nautlist from time to time if I wanna play a bit aggressive from afar and point sensor is so handy because I SUCK at splatoon. I'll probably use the Classic Squiffer a bit for often. It may not be the *most* beginner friendly but its the one I wanna use and I'm fricking stubborn (and the goober tuber, I just like the fast charging on that on)

Hey! I also started my charger journey with the Squiffer in Splatoon 2. I loved the kit with sucction bomb and inkjet the most. I could never really get the hang of any other charger except bamboozler because of MPU. Then Splatoon 3 came along and I decided I was finally gonna get good with regular charger. And I did!! Then I moved to the E-Liter and never looked back! It's the hardest weapon in the game to master and I finally conquered this beast! Now is MINE TO WIELD AS I SEE FIT!! MUUHAHAHAHAHA!! 😈 Awesome video! You earned a sub!
As someone who plays mainly agressive shorter range weapons (ttek, trislosh wiper etc) chargers are a pain to deal with especially the eliter i hate fighting them but i have to admit chargers are fun to use. I personally like the goo tuber (partially because it's funny to do well with goo) and in 2 i played the squiffer a bit
As someone who likes to mane almost exclusively chargers and splatlings, I loved this, you absolutely deserve more subs, and you have certainly earned mine, looking forward to more videos!
My favorite thing about chargers is how they fixed the most frustrating parts of snipers in other games. Snipers are so frustrating because they can instantly kill you from anywhere on the map without warning. With chargers, their range is not infinite, so you can rest easy, and when you are in range, you can easily see and (for the most part) actually react when you're about to get shot. Ive had games in overwatch and tf2 where a single sniper just ruined my day because there was literally nothing i could do, but that has never happened once across all three splatoon games.
I really like this too! Instead of being able to completely spawnlock the enemy, chargers have much less range than traditional snipers and are VERY easily seen. Even when hiding behind a wall, the glowing ink tank is fairly visible. They still feel strong, but not unbeatable.

I play chargers since i got splatoon on wiiU, i love them so much but i started to love mire with splatoon 2, that addition of the charge hold was amazing. I still play them and oh boy i will never get tired of playing this weapon class. This video is absolutely amazing and great! You did a really amazing job! ❤❤❤❤❤

I picked up z+f splat charger only recently and i have used it more, according to splatnet, than my actual main, the nautilus 47. I love using it and im glad i came back to the class after getting demolished while trying to use the v-splat charger when i first got the game.
I always wanted to be a charger user however I was never able to be consistent with them. Only really do well 30-40% of the time at best. The time I did spend with them did give me some serious respect for the charger mains out there, you are all awesome.

I just found your channel today from the Goo Tuber video and MAN I've wanted to find Splatoon videos like this for ever. The fun, casual, and sometimes nostalgic approach to the games weapon and meta-history is so inviting, AND I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE A FELLOW CHARGER MAIN! I've been since day 1 in Splatoon 1, and I just wanted to add my obligatory "Man I miss Burst Bombs on E-liter!" I haven't really been able to get into them since, I just feel having that insanely quick offensive option was the ultimate life-saver, and the Echo-locator maybe wasn't super amazing but it did compliment the weapon a lot. I'm excited to see more of your videos in the future!

My only confusion is, if you're a Splash Panda and you're in a dumpster, I guess you're a raccoon. But raccoons aren't rodents. It doesn't matter for video quality, its just a weird way to describe yourself is all.
If this really is the first video you made on yt, great job. You actually look like you have a good amount of experience. The thumbnail was perfect because I came in like "damn right chargers are the best", but also, your style is unique and entertaining. I main splatcharger and it’s a criminally underrated option for higher level anarchy play. Both kits have their own respective niches and as a certified ink vac lover, its vanilla kit is fantastic in rainmaker especially. People tend to crowd in rain and one shot can take out almost the entire team. Plus in tower you can almost instantly get people off the tower with a shot that wasnt even charged with any ink. Such a cool weapon
Do NOT use the vanilla kit in zones though LMAO

Chargers (and backlines in general) were by far my least played weapons for all of 1 and 2, but in 3 I got interested in tri stringer and decided to give explo a second chance after sucking with it in 2. Both are some of my most played weapons now! Eventually this led to me trying out splat charger and having more fun than expected, realizing goo tuber can kill with a partial, grinding bamboo for whatever reason during the zelda fest (good kit for gettting people off/away from the signal), and now finally coming back around on my opinion of pencil and it becoming my favorite charger as of a couple days ago. As a bit of an "everything main" I still rarely play chargers but this is my first time actually giving them an honest shot after 8 years of playing the series and they feel really good when you do well with them. Since Splatoon is the only shooter game I've ever played it's also nice to play something that helps me practice my aim once in a while

@@SplashPanda heh, yeah... I was so looking forward to a squiffer with zipcaster, or E-liter with beacons (or if we could be so blessed, bamboozler with a combo sub). I swear the developers have a vendetta against chargers, it's the only weapon class still missing 4 alt kits at this point. I'll still play the new gootuber for sure (especially since I loathe using missiles), but it's explicitly a weapon I only pick when I don't care that much about winning, after so long trying to make it work in 2 I've more or less accepted that it'll never be good.
@@squiddler7731 I’m the same way! I tried so hard to play it in 2, but it just felt like I wasn’t able to get the consistency that I had with squiffer. Goo sometimes really is just a “kick back and stop caring” weapon. Oh well, fingers crossed we get the coveted burst bomb bamboozler(which I don’t think would be THAT broken given the lack of damage up/mpu) or something equally as cool!!
Great video! I personally quite enjoy gootuber myself for fun, it's not the best, but it's kit is so fun, and I enjoy being able to paint as a charger. Personally though my anchor wheelhouse will always be hydra and explo.

As a fellow raccoon who mains chargers in a decent amount of gamemodes I agree with you alot here, I had NEVER touched chargers until splatoon 3 but as soon as i committed to learning them, I've been a firm e-liter 4k scope user since my first match with it

Love this video!! I can tell your love for chargers with the amount of details that goes in. From the history, explanation of main and sub weapons and even comparison from the previous games. As a charger enthusiast, im really glad to have found this to know there are players out there who love this weapon class.
I picked up chargers solely based off the splat sound, it is sooo satisfying. Remembered getting no kills every match and jumped on constantly. It was a steep curve to climb. Glad i persisted and can now do snap shots with decent splat counts.

Love the fact Panda was giving Point Sensor some credit, I use Nautlist from time to time if I wanna play a bit aggressive from afar and point sensor is so handy because I SUCK at splatoon. I'll probably use the Classic Squiffer a bit for often. It may not be the *most* beginner friendly but its the one I wanna use and I'm fricking stubborn (and the goober tuber, I just like the fast charging on that on)

Hey! I also started my charger journey with the Squiffer in Splatoon 2. I loved the kit with sucction bomb and inkjet the most. I could never really get the hang of any other charger except bamboozler because of MPU. Then Splatoon 3 came along and I decided I was finally gonna get good with regular charger. And I did!! Then I moved to the E-Liter and never looked back! It's the hardest weapon in the game to master and I finally conquered this beast! Now is MINE TO WIELD AS I SEE FIT!! MUUHAHAHAHAHA!! 😈

As someone who plays mainly agressive shorter range weapons (ttek, trislosh wiper etc) chargers are a pain to deal with especially the eliter i hate fighting them but i have to admit chargers are fun to use. I personally like the goo tuber (partially because it's funny to do well with goo) and in 2 i played the squiffer a bit

As someone who likes to mane almost exclusively chargers and splatlings, I loved this, you absolutely deserve more subs, and you have certainly earned mine, looking forward to more videos!
My favorite thing about chargers is how they fixed the most frustrating parts of snipers in other games. Snipers are so frustrating because they can instantly kill you from anywhere on the map without warning. With chargers, their range is not infinite, so you can rest easy, and when you are in range, you can easily see and (for the most part) actually react when you're about to get shot. Ive had games in overwatch and tf2 where a single sniper just ruined my day because there was literally nothing i could do, but that has never happened once across all three splatoon games.
I really like this too! Instead of being able to completely spawnlock the enemy, chargers have much less range than traditional snipers and are VERY easily seen. Even when hiding behind a wall, the glowing ink tank is fairly visible. They still feel strong, but not unbeatable.

I play chargers since i got splatoon on wiiU, i love them so much but i started to love mire with splatoon 2, that addition of the charge hold was amazing.
