I was trying to design a new Charger that I thought a friend of mine would like. It had 2 defining gimmicks. One of them was having no movement penalty when charging or holding a charge. That's when I realized they could just give that buff to Gootuber. See the gimmick of charge hold is to add more mobility for charging weapons while fighting. So why can't the devs just expand Gootuber's charge hold gimmick to be it has all around more mobility than your average Splat Charger. Will this make it better than Splat Charger? Ehh, I doubt it. But it think it will give the weapon more of an identity than just a worse Splat Charger, to the point to where it's usage will come down to the kits.

The moment an Octoling sees a bamboozler, they are traumatized. That's why we never see it in Turf war.

Interestingly bamboo is the only charger I will ever play. I can’t stand the classes gameplay style and will actively stop playing salmon run if one enters rotation, but this one changes pretty much every issue I have with them

I picked up goo tuber for the beginning of splatoon 3 and I really liked it but I stopped using it because my love for brushes is crazy

chargers are my biggest problem with salmon run because i just cannot stand them. if one is in the rotation ill play turf instead

In Splat 2, I thought if I got used to the worse weapon, I'd get better at chargers. I'm now a die hard Goob (secondary) main and significantly worse Splatoon player. I'm okay with this, because it is fun. You're the first person I've seen who NAILED why playing the Goo tuber is so fun! One thing you didn't mention is that Tenta Missiles & Torpedos briefly highlights the enemy, even in ink, giving you a MUCH better chance at not missing your precious shots. Those weapons, along with suction bombs, are also about forcing the enemy to move out of an area. To me, it seems like the main idea is to force the enemy into a desired position with the bombs, while you go through the slow charge up to snipe them. This doesn't work at all, in my experiance, since the Goob is designed to be light weight, the enemy themselves are usually nimble & the charge takes sooooo long. But like you said, it's the partial charges that make it fun! If anyone's wondering what my primary main is, it's the Hydra... I like waiting for things to charge it seems...

I don’t think certain chargers are good for the game (splat charger, eliter and the scopes) the problem is that they encourage sitting in one spot and just locking down an entire area gameplay.. the game is supposed to be about fast paced movement, not sitting in one spot. I feel like these chargers need to be slightly tweaked but besides that they are fun!

When I first watched this video, it inspired me to overcome the millions of losses and 5-star e-liter. Thank you Splash Panda…as of writing this I just reached my goal

Honestly, the Fourier Transform Splat Charger would be absolutely a better name than Z+F Splat Charger, but I'd be mad if it didn't have some cool wave-themed functionality.

I main the Bamboozler. And have for 5 years! It's sooooo SOOOOO SO SO SO GOOD! And the lore behind it is soooo soooo so so so so fun??? And the Autobomb is incredibly good on it! The kit is just peeeerFECT! Killer Wail makes me very happy.... veeery happy indeed... hehehehehe..... heh... Also, all the folks in that picture were from the Squidbeak Splatoon. It's likely that the Splatoon used Bamboozlers, and not necessarily everyone during the Great Turf War used them.

Goo tuber is cool and fun until mr. Grizz slaps it into your hands for a rotation and says ‘good luck have fun!’ (Suffering)

you called naut a poser. you have 1 week to make a 20-minute video praising naut before me and the boys swim up to your door with full charge and alternate midfire charges.

One thing I wish they would do for goo is lengthen the charge time, but the time it takes to deal more than 100 damage would be the same, the other change is to give it longer max range, so basically it could function the exact same as it does now, except if it continues charging past the previous full charge, it would continue to gain range, but not damage. Not sure how much more range to give it, maybe around splat charger, but I think it would help the weapon out a lot.

As a Sploosh main, I get the whole "this weapon is bad, but it's stupid and I love it" and I also like hitting people with hammers! 🤣 But also, this video might be a good reason to try out goo once I get Vsploosh to 5 stars

This is what ive been waiting for. Bamboo is not bad, for it to be good you gotta use it correctly. Dapples arent bad, you have to use them correctly for them to work. Reef slider has to be viewed as a special, not as a zones cheeser. Come on, as a dapple main/splat charger/ goo tuber main, it hurts to see the hate my 5 year mains get.
