    definitely prefer the AYN odin 2 portal over the AYANEO pocket evo for a few main reasons. better driver/game compatibility with the snapdragon 8 gen 2 over the G3x gen 2, much lighter body (430g vs 480g), more reliable software and support from AYN over AYANEO, and $100 cheaper for the base model. has the exact same panel & is apparently tuned slightly better. plus the headphone jack lol

    Price isn't too bad for the specs and features you are getting around $500 Retail or $390 early bird for the Base model. But the problem these handheld suffer is from the Lack of Native Android games that use all the power and features. Your mostly probably going to use this for emulation at the end of the day.

    • @Aereto
      @Aereto หลายเดือนก่อน

      Depending on where you look, there are games that are formatted in APK for sideloading, and they tend to prefer the top end in smartphone performance to run, for better or for worse.
      At that point encouraging developers to port their games to natively run on Android is worth a shot.

The ergonomic is better than I expected, quite a bit better than the odin 2. one surprise is the sticks are removable and totally compatible with the one from gulikit kk 2 pro, which is great cos i have a pack of 3 pairs at home.

    Mr ETA Prime. I’ll be as respectful as i can in this comment, seeing how you have been treating the people who have been with your channel since your oldest uploads, subbed or not. Im of the mind that you have reached the level of youtube big headedness that you just don’t care anymore because you know whatever you post you’ll get 30k minimum views, advertised or not. Yes you gotta get the bag by reading a script and all…BUT CAN YPU PLEASE TEST GAMES THAT PEOPLE ACTUALLY PLAY.
    If its an android device, you never play the top five most intensive games. Wtf is codm and genshin. You never try winlator, you never try WZM on ultra and check temps after 5min, i mean sir warframe mobile and all those other power hungry games. Come on man. Weve been here since your rasberry pi/nvidia shield videos man. Please just push these damn devices to the max and stop showing the same games that midrange things can shoot out of the sky. @itzdcx comment is difficult to disagree with. At your size, your viewership will never go down but your core audience will truly have lost faith in you.

    The 165Hz seems a bit pointless for an Android handheld considering most games for some reason are locked to 60FPS even if you have a 120Hz screen.
    I wonder how much more useful this could be if someone got Linux working on it the same way you would a custom ROM.

    Wreckfest is best for android performance tests. It has the same physics as PC version, only has lower textures an collision details. Also it has controller support as it's a ported game.

    It's WAY TOO BIG, just put a REAL X86 CHIP IN THIS THING. Especially at this price. Also, it's been proven that the G3X 2 isn't much better than the basic 8 Gen 2. Since AYA can't cool their chips so it throttles to lower performance than 8 Gen 2 in the AYN ODIN 2. Also, why can't ANY OF THESE put two USB Cs on them?

    • @reryaa
      @reryaa หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      It depends on your needs. I mainly want this chip and android os for my streaming. Also battery life is a plus lasting 10-12 hours rather than x86 apus only last 2 hours of pc gaming.

      @@const3llations_370 Yet you couldn't provide a counter, I wonder why? Just offered a deflection. Pathetic. Also, Russell at Review Game Corps proved this to be the case. They have terrible thermals. Their DMG Throttles and so did their pocket. Even at best, you're getting like 20% in GPU increase and 5% in CPU. Called doing your research as I have done extensively on these products as an owner of over 20 different ones.
