I've just started Year 10 and after my first set of mocks Geography is definitely my weakest subject. Thank you so much for the revision tips they definitely motivated me to get started on some revision and organise my time efficiently so I'm using a range of different revision techniques to learn the content. 9-markers: - Brief introduction - ~3 PEEL paragraphs (Point, Evidence e.g. facts & figures, Explanation, Link back to question) - Conclusion (with a Golden Judgement). 6-markers are similarly structured, but iirc there’s no element of judgement/evalution so leave the conclusion out. also you can give ~2-3 points and maybe slightly less detail.
as a year 11 scrambling around and panicking to increase my grade 6 in geography, this is a massive help how do I do it in such a short time though? I regret wasting it and not revising straight away
Don’t panic. I had the same feeling of regret close to my exams too, but they still turned out well because I didn’t just give up thinking it was a lost cause. You have some good time during the Easter break to get thorough revision underway; create a plan, test yourself using revision resources, look over your past tests, and practise timing. There is enough time for huge improvements, good luck!
i would. the textbook is useful to get if your school doesnt already provide it, as it has more detailed explanations for any topics you find tougher. the textbook is for learning for the first time + extra support; the revision guide/your notes are for revision.
im not sure how it works for CIE, but you should fully study every topic/unit that your school has taught you and you will answer at least one question on

yeah! CGP is great, just make sure you look at multiple sources to pick up extra details; the flashcards are just meant for summaries
