Thanks for taking the time to watch my videos. I do feel very lucky to live here in the Peak. It was only at the start of the year that we were able to move here from London, so I am always grateful to have places like this on our doorstep, not just a built up and overcroweded city.

Great informative video.Weather permitting will make my way from home in North Wales to walk this as never visited this area before. Some of the scenery reminds me of Holmfirth area my old stomping ground!

Thank you for taking the time to watch 😊 I’m so glad that the video has had this effect, I would high,y recommend a visit to Goyt if you get the chance, it’s so beautiful and really a bit of an unsung gem of the Peak District. I’m actually in the process of filming a new video all about some of the best things to see in Goyt valley so hopefully that can be helpful to you also once I upload it 👍 Have a great weekend

Had my first walk in ten years odd the other day. My son is responsible for encouraging me to tread the boards again. He suggested The Goyt Valley. Never been there before but was really impressed. Great video and has inspired me to go back and try this route. Hopefully I wont be huffing and puffing quite so much next time. Good job.

Hi Paul, I'm really glad you enjoyed the video, thank you for your feedback. Its very good to hear that you are getting out walking and enjoying places like the the Goyt Valley. I wouldn't worry about to much huffing and puffing, I certainly had a bit of that going on up the first steep bit of the walk 😊

Another great serving! That loop actually looks really good, lots of varied scenery to walk through too! I'm sure we'll meet up and do it together at some point in the near future :)

Hi any cows on this walk?

    • @ThomTopics

Afternoon. No, this walk is clear of cows. For the section over 'wild moor' (the earlier bit from Buxton to Errwood reseviour) there are sheep on the moor but no cows.

Thinking of doing this tomorrow. Does it get very boggy this time of year?

So, to summarize, it's boring and dangerous, keep away
