Absolutely stunning photography, videography and drone footage Harrison. I particularly love the reflections of the trees on the resevoir. I loved the spillway. Beautiful as always. Thanks for sharing.
Wow what a brilliant video in a beautiful place. Love the autumn colours. Not done that walk yet, so thanks for sharing it with us! Will definitely have to do it sometime! 🧡🍁🤎🍂🔥
This is the first video I have seen of yours, you just popped up on my feed today! I like your content and dropped you a sub and a like. you are very good with your commentary, I wish I could put together great commentary on my videos too! Thanks for sharing, i will most definitely be checking out more of your videos when I have time
Thank you so much 😊 that makes me really happy to know there are new viewers (and that you actually enjoyed the video 😂) the new sub and like are very much appreciated 👍 have a great weekend
I only wish there was more free time to enjoy it. I always try and not take for granted how lucky I am to live close by to these places. Thank you for watching 😊
Great video Thom. Walked it so many times - fantastic for clearing the mind and relaxing. How about doing a film of Errwood going upto Pym's Chair, across to Shining Tor and then back down to Errwood hall? We're so lucky with our countryside! Thank you.
Thank you for taking the time to watch 😊 likewise I agree that it’s a great place for some headspace. That is a great route that you have suggested, I have done the loop many times but a video of the route is a great idea 👍 look out for that one on the channel in the future.
Sighs, as she adds another must visit place to her very long list!! Lol! Beautiful place and a great vlog, love the drone footage too! :-) Thanks for sharing, parking hints and for an old godger its always good to know what the paths are like. :-)
It’s a nice problem to have when you have a long list of places to visit 😊 thank you for taking the time to watch and commenting. It’s well worth the visit there, I didn’t mention in the video but the parking is also free which is a bonus. Have a great weekend
So good we watched it twice! Loved how this turned out, complete with flying cameras and everything 😁👌 I think we've accidentally been down there once trying to get to Errwood after a snow diversion. Need to go there on purpose next 😅 Thanks for showing us somewhere new and beautifully filmed 👍
Thank you 😊 the extra views are always appreciated. It’s a nice spot for a wander in Goyt, especially when you just want something gentle and easy going. It almost felt like a rerun to an older style of Thom Topics video but done better (hopefully 🤦♂️😂)
Another super video Thom, amazing footage, and drone work. Always interesting content and most certainly inspiring me to visit. In fact I’m pleased to say I will be up there in a week or two doing some 3D photogrammetry scanning of the old Errwood Hall for the Peak Parks. Please do keep the videos coming. Thanks again.
@@ThomTopics You are most likely aware that Errwood Hall was recently damaged by vandals attempting to gain access to the cellar. It now been repaired so we are going to take a detailed photographic survey of the site that can then be assembled into a 3D model. We used a drone on an automated flight path to do so. It can be repeated and updated every so often on regular intervals once the flightpath is set up. These photographic models allow for measurements, calculation, examination for maintenance, future monitoring, and comparison of previous models etc. They also allow people who are less able or physically limited to view the site. It’s an amazing ay to help people in the local community to take responsibility for the local buildings, artifacts, and landscapes they love and help give them the power to transform people, places, and communities. As we are a community volunteer group, we do this for free, we wish to open this up as an opportunity for local people to learn new skills and also add to the historic record of our historic past.

Thank you Chris, it was certainly a good day with good light to get out and capture these scenes. I hope you have had a good weekend.
Stunning colours in Goyt at that time of year
The autumn leaves are a real contrast to the current green we have in the Peak

This drone footage is just absolutely sublime. This is so well thought out, love it!
Thank you 😊 still feel very much like a learner when flying the drone but have been happy with the new kind of shots it can add 🚁
Wonderful location
Brilliant for a nice flat walk 🥾
Nice video Thom, beautiful scenery 👍
Thank you very much
