I've been using AGV helmets for over 30 years, never had any problems whatsoever with the brand, always comfortable & well made & finished. But, about three years ago I bought a new AGV K3 helmet, within two weeks of use the shell started cracking around the strap rivet area & the visor release mechanism failed, took it back to the vendor who referred me back to the importer who then referred me back to the vendor, after this cycle repeated a couple times the penny dropped that neither party were going to honour the product or its guarantee. The helmet went in the bin and now I'm an Arai owner that won't risk another AGV in the future. It was most likely a one off manufacturing issue, but bad product & customer service have destroyed my brand loyalty, not that brand loyalty is worth much these days anyway.
And, what it sucks is when you have an OEM VR's original edition and after some time, one loocks for the inners pads and cushonings, and surprise! Not available or not in production any longer. Therefore, I chose the Japanesse brand, all the way, to reflect
I'm less interested in HOW (vacuum impregnated carbon most likely, easy to see other videos) and more interested in WHERE they are made. Since the K3 is made in China.
got a linky? I assumed it but would be nice to know. Does it show on the box? Something of the effect of assembled in/vs parts sourced from kinda thing
Awesome insight been wearing AGV's since the 80's

Arai or Shoei, all the way! 👍
k3 is made in China my friend. You got a fancy paint job on a pile of rubber dog shit. It's despicable for AGV/Dainese to do this.

also I would love to know where the carbon shells are brought in from. Especially since the lower end AGV are made in china
Are they snell or race a prove
0:10 So wait, you don't need a drivers license in the UK - that is awesome!
It's probably a secret, but was hoping you'd show how they made the shell.
Martin S This is an old video. But I think it's still nice to see. th-cam.com/video/1epZqbKSELo/w-d-xo.html
