The 84 year old owner lives in Paris may have since died. De Roze, the owner's father, was a great illusionist, he presented around the years 1930-40-50 ... magic numbers in the great European music halls. This magnificent country house is for sale-wish I could buy it, the renovation is estimated at 750k€ . But I hope some with the nessesery money will give this juwel new life.

Dressed in blue velvet, perched dramatically on a piano, Lucienne Boyer sings her Parisian torch songs (TIME, Oct. 8). Vicente Escudero clicks his Spanish heels, cas tanets and fingernails, accompanied by a troupe of wriggling gypsies. A fat, sad-faced Russian named Raphael makes a concertina, scarcely larger than a sausage, whisper like a violin. A magician named De Roze refreshes his audience by pouring, from a pitcher which appears to con tain pure water, small sniffs of whiskey, benedictine, gin, tomato juice or absinthe. Between turns, bland oldtime Nikita Balieff makes impudent speeches in the

Aww dear Lesley I loved this one! You can literally just feel the good vibes. They were all so beautiful! There was a whole lot of stuff but she had good taste and made it all cozy somehow. Reminds me of how an artist would keep their house! Very eclectic and interesting. Thank you sweet boy! Love you so much honey! 🩵🥰🇺🇸

Local churches and cemeteries keep birth/ death records from way back. You could look there for more info.
I can feel the love of this beautiful couple all the way to USA. Thank you for treading delicately on their memories.
May the Mum Rest In Peace and the father go back to sit with her memory before he gets too much older.

Oh wow Lesley . An amazing home but extremely cluttered . It’s sad thinking all the memories just left . It’s hard to imagine no one claiming this home and it’s contents . I wonder what happened to them . Lesley , you’re storytelling is really wonderful and makes you feel like your there to . Your voice is mesmerizing and you were born to tell stories . I feel your passion deeply . Your an old soul who has had many lives and because of this you see the beauty of life in the simplicity of things . You should write a book of short stories , perhaps for children . Wow !!! Smiling at you. Many blessings Lesley as you continue your journey through this life . I love all your videos . What a journey you take your listeners on . Thank you so much 💙🦋😮

I watched a few of your video sequences they are always a joy to watch. Everyone has a life and story and you warmly express the passion for telling them and it brings more to the show than anything you are viewing. Careful and precise in your developing story would draws anyone into the scene. Having worked in Hollywood for many years it is fresh to watch and you are the real interest. Cut.

I looked up the Poster of "De Roze" It seems he was from Switzerland and he presented an act titled
"The Wonder Barman" as early as 1936 in Europe and America..perhaps he was a relative. His picture is in several places in the home.
Just thought I would share if anyone was interested.

There are some valuable art prints in this home. Next to the bed is a Louis Icart lithograph..quite desirable. Also, the late Picasso (that I do not recognize) a few seconds later...If that is a signed lithograph would be very valuable. The painting in the attic also looks desirable.

aha so the answer to what happened is in the photo album leslie had in the begining. The children grew and moved away. The wife must have passed away.. And the children somehow didn't want the place and their father didnt have the energy due to grief and age to pack everything... All the other newer kids pictures has to be grandchildren.

Where did these people go? Why did they leave their possessions and all these pictures and memories 😢 I hope that an Arabic translation will be available so that I can understand the comment

We'd love to make a 1 time donation To your cause but do not want to sign up for monthly payments. Did not see where you could just make 1 donation. Or did I just miss it? Thanks

Does anyone know the full names of the owners? I am interested in researching why they left or what happened
