On this episode we're joined by the Clinical Director of Tabor Lodge, Mick Devine. Mick began his career at Tabor Lodge in 1997 as an Addiction Counsellor and was given the role of Clinical Director in 2011. During our conversation Mick spoke about his life growing up, the origins and inner-workings of Tabor Lodge as well as what services they provide to help people in recovery. Mick was my councilor in Tabor Lodge in the late 90's. I was one of the lucky ones in that I'm still sober all these years later. I know that without Mick and many other people who helped me, I wouldn't have made it.
I was lucky enough to meet him recently so that I could thank him. I was also shocked to hear him say that he actually remembered me 😊

I’m currently under Coolmine and they’re helping with much but I think Il have to go to tabor lodge end it’s scary I just went to be ok

Always followed ye lads! Under my therapy Iv no vhi or medical card it’ll cost 6.5k to go so I need to be serious about it and I am I’m sick of it
