Thanks for the video and the feedback! i have alot of ambitious stuff planned next (that doesnt involve ai voices or stock footage, i learned my lesson). Zetacodine was mainly just a way for me to get my footing with filmmaking, I'm not super proud of the series and the effort i put in, but the support ive gained has given me the motivation to create other works that ill be much more proud of. Appreciate the video man thank you!
hello! i’m sorry if i come off as hostile, but i think it’s really fucked up you used real, unconsenting people for your series. there’s a lot of different alternatives out there. especially the chemical burn victim you depicted as one of the feral addicts. if you won’t use real people for voice acting, why use them for mugshots?
The worst thing about that being that it was used already in online horror already, like 10 years ago or so someone tried to convince people that it was real found footage from russia 💀
I understand if you didn't know, but the woman in one of the thumbnails used for the channel is a burn victim whose image has been falsely associated with anti-drug campaigns. I don't remember her name and not sure of how she is doing now, but using her image in a "horror" series is very messed up. It's not a manipulated image like other analog horror series, she's an actual person.
I also thought it was horrible she was included. It doesn’t matter if she sustained her injury through a drug lab explosion. You used a photo of a burn victim without permission to portray her as a deformed zombie.
I worked on this seris with the person and they put hard work and time into this series's and wanted to put a message and meaning behind it and in my opinion with someone who doesnt have the resources to film the way he wanted to or had voice actors or normal actors or places to film i think he did very good
I like it, and I think it's got some really good ideas behind it; in particular I like that it's basically working with the idea of the increasingly bleak evolution of the opiate epidemic. But while I can appreciate things being short and to the point, I feel like the series as a whole is trying to get across concepts that actually do need more space to be done well. Without that, it's a bit too on the nose, because even if it's completely believable as a possible motive, having the company tape basically scream "YES WE WOULD LIKE TO KILL THE POOR" is... not exactly subtle, lol. Actually, that's kind of become a big thing in analog horror now, the whole "flashing the real message" thing. The issues is it being used when it makes no sense, like in this series. It's more reasonable in a series with a much more obvious supernatural presence, where it could be seen as a part of the truth peeking out (or a falsehood!), or perhaps if there's a strong element of mind/thought control, where it's part of an intentionally placed message that might be at home in a training video. But in that second case, it wouldn't just be the one obvious flashing message like that, imo. I do want to be clear, though, that I still really like it, and I think it's an indication that the creator could come up with some really amazing stuff in the future.
I really appreciate this feedback. These were all big things i wasnt too proud of with Zetacodine. My problem with the flashing images thing you mentioned, is that I was worried if I didn't include that people wouldnt get the point, which people still didn't get the point (as you can see by the other comments on this video). But i do appreciate the feedback, the main point of this series was just to show people what im capable of, and the support ive received has given me enough motivation to sink in real money and time to hire voice actors, actors ect to make stuff im truly proud of. I really appreciate these words and I hope you stay tuned to see what I have planned for the future!
You should probably not be supporting this analog series, while interesting it most likely unconsentually contains photos of real people plagued by drug addiction and abuse, it is very disrespectful and inconsiderate of the creator of this analog horror series to include them in their series and picturing them as drug induced psychos without their consent.
I know this because i recognize the woman at 2:12 from a different video about the before and after of drug usage, what this creator should've done instead of using actual people who exist for horror, he should've generated some AI photos, as nowadays they are very accurate, although easily noticable to youth, AI is the perfect tool for fiction if you cant find people who are willing to do photos or voice acting.
That’s your decision, but you can’t force it on others. How do you think horror content creators got by with content before the advent of AI? They used real images. Imagine my shock. Also, AI steals art from real people for datasets, and ones that connect to the internet end up inbreeding by using previously generated AI art from other AI, giving worse results. Maybe you should grow some backbone and try to be less pathetic.
@@damnits2200 if you noticed how I added in "should" instead of "will" you'd understand I'm not trying to force anyone to do anything, furthermore, most horror content creators usually use their own original work, and do not rely on 3rd party media to put into their own content, also, not an avid supporter of AI and I agree with much of what you said, however AI horror images look good, unlike the anime and video game styles, and would look natural with all the filters out over the images in the video, lastly, you are very disrespectful for no apparent reason, calling me "pathetic" and to "grow some backbone" because I have some human decency not to use the pictures of people who struggled with drug abuse, probably because you have no empathy for people unlike you as well as going through drug addiction, which you probably haven't experienced, regardless, refrain from personal insults if you're trying to get your point across, anyway, although you don't deserve it due to how you've been to me, have a nice day/night, you probably need it.
I'm not sure about the other pictures, but the one from 2:12 is of a legitimate addict who has been arrested many times.

Both your video and the series deserve more appreciation. Get here through recommendation, so hope TH-cam algorithm will work for that
