The hardest part of this repair was reinstalling the tire onto the rim. I had to use small C-clamps and a screwdriver to work the tire back on after I had heated it with hair dryer. I am sure that others would interested in seeing your methods. Thank you.

If anyone gets to this point, I highly suggest getting honeycomb tires. They are harder but you’ll never need to change a flat inner tube and go through this hassle again. eBay has a lot of good quality tires that fit this escooter.
Hey Guys, I found a easy way to get the tire on. You need two people. Just like the c clamp idea, you need one person to stand on the opposite end of the tire that's already pushed in by hand, and the other person should use screwdrivers to pry the tire onto the wheel. Hope this helps :)
Read through the comments and this was the only suggestion that required no clamps. Gave this a try and it surprisingly worked. I prefer not ever having to do this because this sucked...

Honestly change the tires to hard honeycomb ones. I’m sick and tired of this issue. My first scooter was a Glion scooter with hard tires and I miss it very much.
I purchased the green slime prior to trying to remove the rear tire. However the stem is stuck inside of the tire and cant be removed even with needle nose pliers. It's a nice scooter. However they made it nearly impossible to change the rear tire smh.
Yup this is so aggrevating. Spent money on new tubes and now both of the bolts are stripped on the back! All i wanted was to quickly change a tire but now i dont have a usable scooter to commute anywhere.
The smaller size is 2.5 mm. The bolt is really tight and you will probably strip it. Use a screw extractor set to remove. The inner bolt that actually attaches the tire is 5 mm, that comes off easily.
@jakeporter1447 the key to not stripping the bolt is to insert the allen key into the screw and taping it down with a hammer a few times to get a good lock then you can turn the allen key to un-tighten the bolt without stripping.
Just bought a G4 and right out of the box the back tire was flat and fails to retain air. Looking at the comments here I'm wondering if Gotrax sent me a used G4 instead of the a new one. Why do Gotrax put out a video like this suggesting you can simply unscrew the covers when you can be sure they've put enough threadlock on the crappy allen nut to ensure it strips even if you use exactly the correct size key. Grrrrr. Really annoying.
Thought mine was a puncture but it ain't before people go changing the innertube check to see if the tire ain't crushing in the innertube mine was which is why it would pump up yet there was still air going into the tire but wasn't coming out so I brought the tire out more so it could pump up and hey presto my problem was the tire was crushing the innertube... no puncture... the worse part was trying to put the wheel back on the scooter that was defo a task lol
Check out this video. There is a part two as well. I would also recommend having some tire levers handy. They make the whole process easier. th-cam.com/video/SZTaHcy61MI/w-d-xo.html
No amount of preparation for the difficulty of this process. NOT EASY AT ALL. Getting the tube in was probably the easiest part (not easy) but getting the tire back on required me to align it perfectly (again, not easy because on flat side is smaller than the other with no guides to help assist) required me to pick up the scooter and slam it to the ground. No amount of force that I could apply was able to accomplish this. We'll see if it works when I get it pumped.
