When songs are songs and not autotuned. These were the singers who were paid justifiably for their value(my opinion).
Those microphones and instruments are still fixed on mixer boards.
@paula people get autotuning confused with reverb effects. Rappers such as Exb only use reverb for effects.
@paula i never said that mixer boards are the same as autotune. But they do alter sounds such as echo or reverb
she's one of the highest paid singers in the Philippines and one of the richest musician in the country.

First it's rare to be a Disney princess TWICE.. Also rare to be part of the main cast of one of the biggest musical of all time with two different character and both on the 10th and 25th anniversary of Les Miserables. What also set her apart is her crystal clear voice, yes there's also a lot can sing and belt but you can't even understand what they're singing as if they're eating their words. Lea is such a world class talent.

The reason there's a microphone on the stage is because this was the 10th anniversary of Les Mis, which they did as a dream cast in concert. So they were in full costume, but there was no set, props, blocking, etc. Just the acting they could do while standing at the mic.

Er, not really. This was the 1995 concert commemorating the 10th anniversary of the London production, which opened at London's Barbican Theatre in October 1985. The Broadway version opened more than a year after London, in December 1986. So at best this was the 9th anniversary of the Broadway version.
And I believe Lea was the first Asian actress to play Eponine on Broadway, but not in London. I think another Asian actress did the part in London before Lea did it there.
That's Lea Salonga singing as Eponine in Victor Hugo's Les Miserables, set on French revolution era. That's the 9th or 10th anniversary concert of the Broadway musical. Proud Filipino here. Tnx Buds and Doe!

I saw her as Fantine on Broadway, I'd listened to the 10th anniversary recording my whole life so to finally see the show and to see her performe as Fantine was just mindblowing. She's incredible. The 25th anniversary recording at the O2 is incredible too.

First year of my University my parents took me to watch Miss Saigon (Australia) and Lea Salonga as Kim in the cast and she was amazing.
Lea is the reason I fell in love with musical theatre shows as she was the star of miss siagon here in london, she is also the reason i fell in love with filipinos and ended up marrying one. we now have two adopted filipino children that live in our house in the philippines along with the other 14 children we love and care for. Thanks for all you do promoting the philippines and their very loving and talented people.
