Regine is a good singer and belter, Lea is a technical singer, the opening of the mouth and the clarity of words. She still have that voice up to now even her Jasmine's voice in Aladdin (react on it with Brad Kane and also with El Divo). It is evident that some of our good belters before already deterriorated their quality of singing. Lea still have it.

The producer even fought for her to play the lead on broadway seeing the conflict with actor's equity cos she's not an american citizen. They held an audition but failed to find someone who can do justice to the role so in the end they flew her to America.
