It's a much more passive wish that's tantamount to saying "If you're available and no one else's, it would be nice if fate arranged it so that you would be mine (and I yours)". So the raw emotions tend to be borne out of a strong desire to be with someone but knowing one shouldn't do anything about it.
Good translation. I know the Tagalog language have some pretty deep meaning thats hard to express in the English language. Thanks for the knowledge. My friend also says he has a hard time to fully translate the true meaning in English to me.

Her star first rose on The Voice Philippines 2013 but ended up in 2nd runner up but despite of that she never gave up on her dreams of becoming known singer. She was given a chance to interpret this song (akin ka nalang) on himig handog( a song composition competition) and the people discovered that she can whistle. Nobody can cover this song like her so this song became an OPM hit in the Philippines. Hi! I suggest you rewatch it and open the closed captions(CC) on the video. Btw. Her star first rose on The Voice Philippines 2013 but ended up in 2nd runner up but despite of that she never gave up on her dreams of becoming known singer. She was given a chance to interpret this song (akin ka nalang) on himig handog( a song composition competition) and the people discovered that she can whistle. Nobody can cover this song like her so this song became an OPM hit in the Philippines. But i think that she ultimately became an internet sensation when she covered her "Secret Love Song" by little mix (WATCH THIS ONE TOO!!😂) live on wish 107.5 bus like this one "Akin ka nalang". until she was called "The Asia's Phoenix" after representing the philippines on the annual Asia's Song Festival held on South Korea last 2017

We told u guys to get ready to be blown away, this is one of the best live MV ever recorded and it's by none other than our Queen Mori and her Iconic song. the facial expressions said it all of how u saw it heard it and reacted to it. I will say this, it took u guys long enough to react to this MV. but nevertheless, it's been done and thank u for an awesome reaction.
