I love how Adrienne was open about her sexual harassment and she even went as far as to say what actually happened. Thank you for taking ownership of that and not making it taboo to talk about.

Trix Ingado yeah I don’t even remember hearing anything about a baby shower. I cried when Jeanie told her story. I was at a bar two summers ago and was touched by a man. The police first question was how much I had to drink. This man put his hand up my dress and down my bra and kissed my neck. The bartender knew me and was witness to it. I felt like I did something so wrong

The main thing I love about Jeannie is that she's so inclusive. As you could tell, Loni and Adrienne were trying to reach out the the women who were harassed, but thankfully Jeanmie brought up the fact that women AND men are both sexually harassed.
sexual harassment is not just touching inappropriately, even cat calling is sexual harassment, and inappropriate sexual talk that is not invited is sexual harassment.

I feel if they’re following you and are repetitive AND are aggressive while saying it- yes that’s harassment. But most of the time men just whistle or make a comment as you’re walking by. Rarely do they ever FOLLOW a woman.
When it gets repetitive I feel that then it become harassment.
Otherwise any unwanted comment/opinion could be considered harassment.

And there is no reason to feel embarrassed, who harrassed is the one to be embarrassed! People not talking about it makes it even bigger as we try to pretend it doesn't exist... I thought it was normal, it was just something that most girls go through... and it's not!
It doesn't even matter what you wear or look like sometimes...I was at film festival last year and my sister and I were waiting for red carpet appearances and we were wedged between a lot of people. I was wearing regular jeans and a regular shirt, nothing showing and I don't even have an ass or boobs and this guy behind me decided to take advantage of the situation and kept squeezing my ass. At first I thought it was by accident but then I was like no this can't be an accident so I asked my sister to look (cause every time I turned around he would stop) and she saw him. So I turned around pushed him, thankfully he got kicked out. But I felt SO sick the whole day I had to go home early cause I felt so scared and violated.
So horrible. I would have punched his lights out

I know what they are saying, just to say "stop" and it will end, but honestly if you are alone and there is no-one around to help, can you say stop?. Saying stop is hard because you know once it has been said the perpetrator will push even more; which can lead to worse situations. So therefore you just have to scan certain situations and your surroundings. Be safe, but also be smart because it can go a whole other direction if you are really vulnerable.

It's sad this happens to a lot of women and it can happen so quick that you're just in shock and not sure how to react. I think Jeannie was really good to tell both sides, sexual harassment isn't taken seriously when it happens to men.

Power or no power... sexual harassment is disgusting and degrading. It has nothing to do with the way you’re dressed. Example: (for religious practice) I had on a loose skirt down to my ankles, a loose shirt that showed no cleavage, and a head covering and I was still harassed. Some men don’t even care if you say stop they just enjoy that you’re talking to them. I get sexually harassed literally every single day that I go to work. And I work as a vendor so it’s not just one location. I’ve been followed on several different occasions. I’ve caught men hiding to watch me. It has gotten to the point where I’d rather not even leave the house if I don’t have to. It’s a HUGE deal. I wish people would take it more seriously

It can be as simple as, a guy that is married and knows that you are also married to someone, but he keeps calling you sexy mama and other names like that. That is still harrassment. When it's from the same person and repeated multiple times and makes you feel UNCOMFORTABLE. Speak up! I told the man to stop. I said "My name on my driver's license is Madisson, that's what I would like to be called. Thank you." And you know what? Everything was fine and he said yes ma'am and we still see each other every week on the sidewalk on my way to work. It stops when you put an end to it.

Yes - respect and boundaries and do not abuse your power. It is not always sexual. Just as I passed a young man on the the sidewalk he let out the biggest loudest and smelliest burp ever. I thought if I was a young man or an older man and twice your size would you have done that right in their face as you did mine?
I always hated dressing up because of the stares... Im 21 and still dont like it cause i was walking in chicago looking gorgeous with my boyfriend having a good lil time and as im crossing the street i felt someone grab my ass i yelled what thhe? I asked if my boyfriend grabbed me he said no and i immediately didnt want to walk anymore . someone in the crowd crossing the street grabbed my ass.. Its things that happen like that.. That makes me wanna have a gun on me or a camera thats on my back or something because i hate the fact that theres a creep that got a felt on me..
