Yes! And Jeannie is not nosy she is curious. Want to know the past, the origins, see what triggered and estimulates people to become what they are today. I totally get that. Those are details of socialization, connecting. But nosy is more like looking inside their profiles and lives without telling them. She is upfront and just asks interesting questions. I am myself that way too and agree 100%. And I don’t care who you’re dating or personal business. It’s more like being interested on your spirit not your life.

Financial Education and preparedness should definitely be taught in high school and college
In what states is this curriculum offered? What do we do for those who never received that education?
I think it should be integrated into the high school and college curriculum ESPECIALLY if you are in a business program in high school wherein the specialization should focus on building wealth

I took financial math in high school, which was basically real world math showing you how to break down a mortgage, we learned about different types of savings accounts, municiple bonds 401k's we watched alot of Dave Ramsey it was a good class looking back, however I think it should something you take in college cause to be honest in high school you just don't take it seriously cause it doesn't apply to you yet. I took home economics too which was seriously outdated at the time I graduated high school ten years ago so possibly its different now.
At my high school, financial management and economics are graduation requirements.

I dont think asking questions is considered nosey. I think nosey is when you risk it all, go out of your way to find out info. Like what Adrienne said, checking ppls phones and computers and stuff. Asking questions (as long as they are appropriate) is not nosey. Nosey to me is being sneaky doing stuff u shouldnt do to get info that does not concern you

Megen Og it’s really not that black and white. Selfishness is irrelevant and orthogonal to the argument. As a private person, it’s really easy for me to consider a simple and conventionally unobtrusive question as “nosy” simply because of my nature. That doesn’t mean that same question asked to someone else would be considered nosy. Loni and the rest of the cast freely talk about their relationships with men, for one. I absolutely don’t discuss those details with anyone, not even my best friend. The most I’ll tell my best friend is that a guy has expressed interest in me or details about what we ate on a date. Anything further (i.e. whether we kissed or not, what we talked about) I don’t feel comfortable sharing, so I don’t. If my best friend asked me about it, which she wouldn’t because she knows how I am, I would change the subject. That’s why I think it’s one of those things that really “depend” because I would consider all those women, if they interacted with me, to be too nosy for me because they are willing to share more and therefore expect others around them to be comfortable sharing as much as they do.

When I was little, my family would pray before dinner. And us kids would try to rat each other out like “mom, ___ had her eyes open!” But once we found out that busted us for having our eyes open we’d then just be like “my eyes were itchy so I scratched them and then I saw that ___’s eyes were open.”
I loved the lighting during this season , it looks very relaxing ; sometimes the bright lights are too much , but watching this it just looks comfortable idk 😅

I'm with Tamera! I loved taking my daughter (now an adult) trick or treating so I could stroll along slowly (which is considered lurking otherwise lol 👻) and glance in windows and peek inside at the door. I just love seeing how others decorate their homes!

I’m 16 but I know a lot about finance thanks to my older sister who went through her fair share of ups and downs. She has like 10 credit cards and definitely advises everyone else to not do that. Unless you have a lot of money. Stick to one, especially when you’re younger. And make sure to pay it off often because you dont want your credit score to drop too low.
Schools suck because they dont teach you this type of stuff. Glad I have my sister!!
I only have a debit card now but I am confident in my finance skills for when I am old enough to get a credit card.

I love this show and I enjoy the wide range of topic discussed. Some of these are interesting, funny and important. However, I dont understand why the need for finance classes is compared to sex ed classes. Both are very important. Sex ed not only gives students the necessary information to understand themselves, their bodies to to protect themselves from having an unwanted pregnancy but also how to protect themselves from getting sexually transmitted diseases.

There is a clear difference between being nosey and being truly concerned and or curious about someone. Being nosey is sticking your nose where it doesn't belong versus being curious which is being interested about that person because you truly like them and genuinely care about their well-being. How do you know the difference? You will know the difference based on the kind of questions they ask.

Being nosy and curious are two different things. I understand that. I'm always told that I'm nosy but I'm just like I'm curious.😊
Being curious is wanting to learn and know more about something or someone in general. Being nosy is wanting to poke into business that you shouldn't: personal, finances, gossip, relationships, etc. Wanting to know someone's name, where they're from, or what they like to eat is just being curious. Wanting to know how many people they've slept with, how much money they make, or if their friend is cheating on their spouse is being nosy.

that thing about financial education is so true they waste or time teaching us things like geometry that won't play a factor in our life at all unless we go into a mathematical career instead of teaching us something that will help us in our lives such as financing and sad to say that schools nowadays don't even teach sexual education especially in New York which is why there is constantly teen pregnancy because there is legit no education for us to teach us how to be safe sexually
