As a PSA: The LMT barrel will most likely not work. I tried one of their barrels with a preinstalled FSB and it was installed with press fit straight pins, NOT taper pins. The pins wouldn't budge and I had to get a different barrel.
Just a heads up you don’t need locktite that yellow is a thread locker and on the flat heads that white washer is so it locks in place I’ve had a ris 2 rail for almost 10 years and never had one even attempt to work loose, great video btw
What did you torque the barrel nut to ??or did I miss something Thanks I ordered one and found this Video …hope my barrel and DD M4A1FSP ,goes on like this one did .. GodBlessYou and ThankYou again
Did you use a torque wrench/screwdriver on the handguard flange screws? I cannot find one that will fit and wondering if it's absolutely necessary. I didn't know if you could just hand tighten then give it a 1/4 - 1/2 a turn more.
I just hand tightened it then gave it like a 1/4 turn. If you want to use a torque wrench to ensure everything is to spec, you could use a ball hex on the end of your torque screwdriver/wrench, just keep in mind those will strip out before a regular hex would so be careful.
Idk ive always thought those rails were cool when i first got into guns and now i remind myself how fundamentally goofy they are, but i dont doubt it works for you good video
If you use the non FSP rail, you may need to file the gas block around the pin area since the FSP rail has a cutout for the pins on the bottom section. It may work without fitting since seems like there is enough clearance there even without the cutout but it may be pretty close.
@jojomasterson4852 thanks for the reply. My bad though, I meant OEM 1. I got the Colt OEM 1 and the rail back in September but still haven't installed it yet. I'm working up to it.
The M203 mounts to the barrel, the SOCOM profile here, yes does have the cuts that the 203 clamps on to. As to answer the rail part of the question most AR handgaurds/rails have a top and bottom section, with the bottom section not needing to be fitted to install the rail, allowing access to the bottom of the barrel to mount the 203.
It should work if you use a barrel with a carbine length gas system, if you use a different length gas system you might run into issues with there not being enough clearance for the gas block.
Touhou and Block II in the thumbnail??
There was no way I wasn't gonna click
Bruh the outro💀you’re a man of culture I see.. subscribed

The DD SOCOM profile barrel is only* available when you buy one of the Brownell's special uppers with the brown rail.
Brownell's has DD M4A1 SOCOM profile uppers...sans F/H, BCG and charging handle.
Interesting to see your methods of putting this rail on
MEILING MENTIONED OORAH

What height dot needed to get that front iron at lower 3rd? Looks tall
You should not ever use loctite when threading steel screws into aluminum.
What kind of adjustable wrenches are you using? I like them.
It's a Knipex Pliers Wrench, IIRC the one I use in this video is the 10" version.
Will a emg daniel defence licensed 9'5 m4a1 handguard fit a LM4D
Idk ive always thought those rails were cool when i first got into guns and now i remind myself how fundamentally goofy they are, but i dont doubt it works for you good video
I am a sucker for quads and fixed front sights
Bro help will this rail fit the Cilt OEM 2 or is the gas block too big

That was a good video!
You just use a standard barrel nut?
If you have a DD RIS II it should come with its own proprietary barrel nut and wrench.
Do you use a carbine length gas tube and barrel ?
Yes the barrel and gas system are both carbine length。
Thx good vid
Did that rail come with the hardware to mount the m203?

What pliers are you using? Also what rail length did you use?
In this video I'm using a "Knipex Pliers Wrench" I think its the 250mm version. The rail was a DD RIS II FSP which is a 12.25" rail iirc.
Guns and anime. Home.
Will a 16 inch Fn barrel work

Thanks 👍🏻

Too much work,I'm just gonna buy one from broenells😊

Rodriguez Barbara Lee Amy Davis Frank
Heavy boom boom 😢
"Hao To Install" haha
Hao is Mandarin for Good. Not sure if he knows that.
That is not a SOCOM barrel, that’s a government profile barrel. You can tell by how skinny it is behind the FSP.
