Nice M35A2 Duece Military truck. As a former truck driver of 25+ yrs. experiance, might i give ya a couple things of advice for this truck of yours??? Why don'tchya add some airtanks of somekind running off a compressor from the engine so ya can add some premium, comfortable, "air ride" seats up there in the cab for driver comfort??? Also, why not add some "airbag, air ride" suspention components to the frame for a better ride??? Also, why not add some "air ride" cab mounts under the cab??? I guarantee ya that these "air ride" stuffs are gonnuh greatly greatly greatly improve the ride and handling of riding around on this brick!!! Ya can take this critter to probably any heavy diesel mechanic shop to have this all done. Put some power steering in this critter to, man. Awesome video, awesome ride & thanks for sharing! Be safe. Are ya running a diesel in this thing? What tranny setup do ya have???
Im looking to get one, how much do they charge for one. There's a place in Pennsylvania and they got them for 21500.. Take care buddy. Have a good one.
I think price now for a basic one is 19000 but it really goes up once you add a lot of extras. By the time I made the video, i paid 19800 with 5 extras. Good luck with your purchase.
Hey partner, no AC but they could it does get hot in there when it gets to temp... also if you can fit a Ram 2500 king cab in a parking space, well you can do the same with this one. Just keep in mind its tall, heavy, and the blind spots is the ability to see below the hood, so theoretically you can roll over something and not even notice.
Thanks for the response and sharing the gorgeous truck with the rest of us. Sorry you had to sell, but congratulations on the new addition to your Family. Cheers!@@roger111ify
Yes and no, it takes roughly 5 to 10 min to warm her up, and the top speed is 61mph... if getting in style at a slow pace is for you, then yes its a perfect daily driver.
@@roger111ify I guess they don't have any that are shorter with smaller wheels. Where can I find a truck smaller than this but similar to this truck that is no taller than my F350 Super Duty?
yes I've had some minor issues, but its still bullet proof. just remember this beast tend to leak which lead me to change the fuel injector in it. mechanically this vehicle is easy to work on but when you do have to do stuff to it just buy beers and invite a friend over to help. remember the military motorpool puts these truck in the heavy line category for a reason.
Thanks for the response! I think I am leaning towards your exact look (color and wheels) but want to add the AC and Power Steering and a winch. One other thing, the box you opted to have installed on driver side, versus a spare tire; do you use it? I would also consider having one put in, but just wondering if you ended up using it and does it have an ability to add a padlock to it? Thanks!
Yes I do use the box, I keep road side emergency supplies and go bag with MREs and other essential material.... yes you can put a pad lock on it, the only thing I don't like is the box has holes such allows water and dirt to get in when driving. But It is manageable and worth the money....

my insurance is through progressive as farm equipment, any special thing they made me do? No not really, it was easy to insure the beast.
Thanks for the help!
I think we'd all enjoy seeing more videos of "the beast".
Take care man!
Really like this, curious how you feel about this truck years later?
Unfortunately I had to sell it because I needed the money, however if life did not get in the way I would still own the beast. FYI, I'm looking at getting another one that should tell you how I feel about these trucks
@@roger111ify awesome glad to hear that. I've been doing a lot of research into the dueces and constantly watching the market for the right deal.
Hey partner thank you for your advise, that's really kind of you. Unfortunately I had to sell the truck, but I loved the heck out of her.
I live in SC and want to get one of these built for my business. What was the end cost for you?
18.5 but prices ha e gone up
That's CHEAP. I'm getting one made, but it's a crew cab. It's way more than 18.5.
What power is under the hood?
It has a 8.0L Inline 6 Hercules multifuel engine, 170 horses and shit ton of torque.
Thanks I been talking to Boyce before I seen your video , I just recently had a 5 ton
Clean an mean what’s the price from Broyce on a build like yours with power steering
Check the website they have everything itemized for price.
I want that truck I love the truck
Looks great!! I cut my teeth on a duce back in the day :)
I love your truck, awesome... Would you mind sharing the price you paid? Thanks...
Hey partner, if you go to their website you'll get a base price, you can build up from there.
@@roger111ify , thanks for the info buddy. The one im looking at has. Overdrive transmission and 5 ton axles, power steering put on it.
Power steering, smart man wish I would have done that on mine.
Do you have them install a/c? Can you fit it in a regular parking spot? Thanks!
Looks mint.
Sweet! I want one....how did you title it?
Dallas can help you out at Boyce to explain. Did mine in WV.
Nice truck. Thanks for sharing. Do you know the paint code for the gun metal grey paint? Thanks
sorry I do not, I will call Boyce so I can get the Code...... I will post it in the future.
What type of hoops did you have to jump through to get this thing registered in California as I am thinking about buying one and I live in California
Hey partner, I registered the truck out of Florida since that is my state of residency.
Sorry, I was not any help...
Beautiful vehicle. Would you make it a daily driver?
Yes and no, it takes roughly 5 to 10 min to warm her up, and the top speed is 61mph... if getting in style at a slow pace is for you, then yes its a perfect daily driver.
I love it and I want to get one... How do I lower it so it will fit in my garage?!
Yeah.....good luck with that partner.
@@roger111ify I guess they don't have any that are shorter with smaller wheels. Where can I find a truck smaller than this but similar to this truck that is no taller than my F350 Super Duty?
@@tomlord5652 hey partner, honestly i don't know.... but if you ask Boyce they can custom build it for you, I think.
@@roger111ify Thank you sir.
Hey, you still have this A2? Just wondering if you have experienced any issues after some time... I am considering one. Thanks!
yes I've had some minor issues, but its still bullet proof. just remember this beast tend to leak which lead me to change the fuel injector in it. mechanically this vehicle is easy to work on but when you do have to do stuff to it just buy beers and invite a friend over to help. remember the military motorpool puts these truck in the heavy line category for a reason.
Airborne Trooper That's a sweet duece an half I wish I could get me a duece an half cause that so sweet
Thanks partner.....
AIRBORNE Trooper your welcome is it fun to drive bro

Like to get one for myself how much is it without the extras and does it have heat
Yes it does, some of them come with a heater....get it, fun vehicle...

its welded,
Very Very Kool!
Awesome. Truck
Love it!!! I want one for hurricane emergencies in Puerto Rico.
nice truck
Hey buddy what power is in that bobber and what year ?
Hey partner a butt load of torque with only 172 horses. It was built in 1972, shes an old beast its amazing what a little botox and plastic surgery does to uplift the look.
AIRBORNE Trooper Thanks buddy I been talking to Brett and gonna pull the trigger shortly even specified that color thanks for replying
not sure, ill check and let you know
this video sold another one of these for Boyce Equipment. Thanks to Airborne Trooper. Thanks Airborne.Airborne here myself (Retired).
