  • Our video from last week sucked, so we redid it. We dropped our very dense pure tungsten sphere onto various objects and destroyed them.

It’s pretty interesting that it hit the oobleck with enough force to make it shatter like that. In most videos the oobleck would break and become liquid and become solid when it hits the round or something. That just stayed solid

But you could go further: Hook it up to a seriously powerful welder, e.g. put it in between two graphite molds with a small dent and put a couple 100 amps through it. that would be dangerous as fuck but eh, thats your thing, amirite?

*"The only difference between screwing around and science, is writing it down"*
    So... Here are some...
    TUNGSTEN BALL NOTES:
    - Destroys a watermelon.
    - Decimates some oobleck & glass bowl.
    - Destroys some pseudo-clay.
    - Severely deforms a clay ball.
    - Demolishes a pineapple.
    - More than double the weight of that of a steel ball.
    - Flattens a Coke can (with Coke inside that sprays everywhere).
    - Surprisingly, there was little damage to the ballistic jelly of the dummy, but several broken bones.
    - Bounces right off a ballistic jelly version of a torso.
    - Demolishes the kinetic sand cylinder (both times).
    - Shatters all 10 tiles with ease.
    - Shatters glass casserole dish (with Skittles inside) and splashes Skittles everywhere.
    It's unofficially science now!! (Lmao)
    You're welcome.
