@@StepsbyKaatje It is good that they can stand the bangs as it is not good to see them suffering. I take Jess out a bit just so she stays used to different noises. We also have trains not too far away so that has also helped get her used to noise. The last two dogs we had were very nervous of fireworks.

The dog is OK with bangs as she has range experience but I did not take her with me. I did take her round the streets afterwards just for the experience and will do the same tonight (5th) just to keep her in training. I know it is awful for most dogs, not to mention the general wildlife 😥😥

Much sympathy, luckily my dog is more of a gun/working dog so does not bother, but I did not take her to the event last night. I really do feel sorry for pets and wild life at this time of year. ATB
3 quid to get in or 10 quid for 2+2 but being from Yorkshire (and not wanting all the distractions) I was in the field next door, which almost caused some excitement as they had decent perimeter security who passed me by a good 12 feet away, oblivious😂😂

Absolutely agree, luckily Jess is part gun dog and trained from an early age but I did not have her with me, but did take her round the streets afterwards and will do again tonight just to keep her used to such noise. fortunately it did not cost me a penny as it was a private event and I was in the field next door but had to experience it. @@southleedsmemories2686 Me and the dog have just got in from litter picking, found 7 Tealights, a can of deodorant with some propellant in it, (it will do to fill a gas lighter) and a rusty wood chisel which should clean up and be useful 😂😂😂
