  • In this video, we dive into the question, "What does fibromyalgia feel like?" It's a complicated diagnosis with a variety of symptoms that can be difficult to pin down. But when you break down the word "fibromyalgia."
    It becomes clear that it's a pain in every fiber of your being. For some, the pain comes in the form of headaches and neck pain, while for others, it's trigger points across the body.
    Fibromyalgia can also be accompanied by anxiety, chronic fatigue syndrome, and other symptoms. We explore how the spine and body being in a locked, stressed, misaligned state can contribute to fibromyalgia and offer tips and tricks for improving your health and quality of life.
    If you know someone with fibromyalgia, or is always taking the same medications and treatments but not getting better, contact us today!

    Finally able to get back to you Cheryl ❣️ Not good going through Fibromyalgia alone. It's been 38 years, hard to believe 😭. We have to be the strongest woman in the world.🙄 I look back and realize I never talked about it because nobody wanted to hear about it since it didn't "show". Well I've been bed ridden primarily, had to leave my career at 38 and in on

      I’m going through the same thing! Im so lonely and depressed with anxiety 24-7 along either all the other pain and insomnia
      Always fatigued.
      My Dr is not much help and Ive seen several specialists
      I’ve had all kinds of tests, 7 years now and ongoing! It’s only getting worse.
      I’ve not hats any treatment or meds that gives me relief.
      I don’t know what else to do

      Me too it’s horrible I had to give up my nursing career, nobody understands unless they are suffering with fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue/ME etc too!
      I’m fed up with trying to explain when people ask the same questions over and over!
      Or they totally ignore- we Don’t want sympathy just understanding and consideration!
      My mother only says “but I can’t do anything “!
      She doesn’t have any empathy at all!
      It’s a lonely life but having some little hobbies when I’m feeling up to it helps- finding joy in small moments!
      Sending love to everyone going through this horrible illness!
      I focus on the future research and hopefully med bed technology will come soon!
      ❤️💜❤️😘🤗🙏🌎

    The way it started for me was feeling like I did when I hadn’t worked out for a long time and then decided to do full body-hardcore exercise with Lactic Acid spread throughout my entire body. I had already hurt my back at work lifting a heavy patient up in bed when I heard a pop. I was also working at a terribly stressful job where we would get stuck working up to 17 hours and then would have to drive several hours home and then get back up at 4:00 am with no sleep. I truly believe that sleep issues is the primary cause for this happening because your body isn’t getting that rest and recovery that comes with restful sleep. Working split shifts with them flipping us nurses around from nights to days with no time in between is miserable, you can’t get home at 8 am and then have to be at work the next day at 7 am. You have to force yourself to stay awake so that you can hopefully sleep before you go back to a day shift. It’s not healthy!

      Same with me... During the covid I used to work from home sitting in front of the computer for 16+ hours as my husband was unemployed, I quit after he got a nice job. So I decided to focus on my health and started working out... Strenuous exercises led me to 5 slip discs initially... And it only kept getting worse from then and here I am today wid FM. It's been 3 years since I am suffering every minute of my life

    Good morning. I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia for a year now. I tell you I'm so restless I don't sleep, and I'm always in pain I could barely walk half a block without crying. My headache has increased so much. I go to pain management and rheumatology. These Doctor's give me so much medicine but nothing is working. I see a shrink because my anxiety and depression is so high I really want to die because this pain is unbearable I'm always home don't know what else to do with myself. Lord is there something I can do to sleep and walk again my brain is about to pop. Many blessings to you and your family 🙏🙏

    The nerves over-react to stimulus. And interpret sensation...fine, touch...and then the nervous system feels pain with the touch stimulus. There's been some interesting brain studies on us. There's some atrophy in areas of our brains from the chronic over-reactions. Also we have ADHD when we never had it as children.

    I hope EVERYBODY CAN SEE THIS!
    I SOLVED IT! The solution:Visualize your whole inner neck = the tendons that form the structure, relaxing and massage without muscle resisting tense back for the effect to work. WHAT you should feel is crackling and crutching sensations that will make your life come back. After that the rest of the body triggers will be easier to relieve. THIS is because of a habit of tensing neck and nothing with nervous system not working hense no one is born with fibromyalgia and get it sometime later in life❤❤

Thought I had sjogrens because I have very dry eyes and mouth but my tests came back negative??? My symptoms fit both. I have many doctor appointments set up. I read up on this. Apparently there is no test for fibromyalgia, which concerns me. I have been tested for arthritis and immune deceases, but blood test came out negative.
    I have had pain in my left upper bottocks and left hip (also on the right side but much worse). My neck is permanently stiff (i thought it was stress) and I feel like not a single pillow can support it. My whole body is tense. Its painful to sleep on my back and both my sides. If I sleep on my side the outside of my ear would hurt so much - as if I slept on a rock. I am 36. It this possible? I dont have menstrual cramps or urinary problems like research suggest.

      Did you have any infection in the past or are you genetically disposed to some diseases or did you deal with severe mental or physical trauma or have your lifestyle choices been unhealthy for a long time, which has to do with your nutrition, sleep pattern, activity,exposure to toxins etc,you can also check for nutritional deficiencies or an ongoing disease your body is fighting which is evading detection in the labs.Check for all autoimmune disorders as well as meningitis as well.

      Best advice is to see an upper cervical doctor. The upper cervical Blair adjustment is safe AND gentle enough and we personally have had patients who have gone through care with Chari. If you are near us, feel free to reach out, if not you can find a referral map on our website to find one closer to you

    Okay, so I have been getting blood work and they are trying to determine what I have. She thinks fibromyalgia. But mine is more joint spots. Is it not really joints and actually muscles surrounding those joints?

    • @ReviveUCC
      @ReviveUCC  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The truth is that it can be both. The alignment of the spine and body has a massive role to play in both the tension of the muscles, but the joints as well. We would love to help. www.reviveucc.com/connect/contact-us/

    Can fibromyalgia cause ear fullness, pain tht feels like toothache but it isnt & i feel numbness on my nose….also i hv never slept with pillow in my life so my spine was never bn in a gud position so much pressure on spine, also hv a forhead osteoma can tht cause fibromyalgia?

    • @ReviveUCC
      @ReviveUCC  ปีที่แล้ว

      Very sorry to hear about all these issues. It is hard to say without a proper examination. It sounds like these are all symptoms of a larger problem, and Fibromyalgia is more of a result/symptom and not a cause.

    Does fibromyalgia start suddenly

    • @ReviveUCC
      @ReviveUCC  ปีที่แล้ว

      not in most cases. In most cases people experience a growing list of inexplicable pains throughout their body, and the final diagnosis is often given after other possoble causes are ruled out.
